11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Learning Disabilities Association (LDA) of Pennsylvania Early Literacy Tutor Training

The LDA of PA will train tutors on their multi-sensory reading instruction teaching method. Additional training sessions occur Friday, June 14 and Monday, June 17. Free tutoring is offered on Saturdays, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Carnegie Library - Hill District for kindergarten age students and younger.

A support group hosted by Autism Urban Connections Inc. aimed to provide education, support, advocacy, and empowerment to families of those diagnosed with Autism.

Pitt’s Office of Child Development (OCD) will collect feedback from community organizations regarding a new tool being tested within OCD.

9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Neighborhood Resilience Project Trauma Informed Community Development Institute The Neighborhood Resilience Project will host an annual training informing community developers on their framework for Trauma Informed Community Development.

Join Turner Construction Company for a networking and presentation event, where they will share information on development in the Lower Hill District and opportunities for underutilized, minority, and women-owned businesses.

JUNETEENTH CLOSURE The Community Engagement Center in the Hill District will be closed Wednesday, June 19 in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. The CEC will reopen Thursday, June 20 at 9 a.m.

PARKING & TRANSPORTATION On-street parking is available on Wylie Avenue Pittsburgh Regional Transit buses 83, 82, and 81 have stops at Centre Ave. and Dinwiddie St.
