Congratulations to the graduating Spring 2026 Grant Writing Workshop Cohort! The Grant Writing Workshop was led by faculty from the University of Pittsburgh’s Writing Institute, Dana Nowlin-Russell and Liberty Ferda. Dana and Liberty taught the foundational skills of crafting successful grant proposals. Over the course of four weeks, participants received hands-on experience in grant writing by crafting proposals for a “mini-grant.” Special congratulations to our first, second, and thirdplace winners, Shiquita Pratt, Dale Sifontes-PierreLavine, and Shawna Carter, respectively.
