HAPPENING AT THE CEC IN THE HILL DISTRICT The Youth Matters Crew had an awesome time on their field trip to Pitt Studios last month! Participants spoke with Pitt Teaching Assistant Professor Lisa Johnson about her broadcasting career, went on a tour of Pitt Studios, and even got a chance to interview Pitt broadcasting students before the Pitt men’s soccer game. Great work, everyone!
Congratulations to the artists in Constantly Creating: The Art of Us and their instructor, Dr. Cathryn Calhoun, for completing the program and hosting their very own Gallery Crawl! Congratulations are in order for the participants of Sew Well with Sharmaine Gamble! Last month, we wrapped up our senior sewing class at the CEC, where participants showed off their handmade zipper bags! If you’re looking to get involved in sewing and other crafts at the Hill CEC, consider coming to our new Craft Club Hours!
