In A Moment began as a one act play - the story of a brief meeting between two very diferent individuals, and the bond they felt. Performed in both Sydney and Brisbane, it was clear that audiences had fallen in love with Sam and Laura - as had we - and so we embarked on the journey of creating the full length play you see today. It has been a decade long journey to reach the beautiful PIP Theatre stage tonight.

Aptly opening on Valentine’s Day, In A Moment is a story of fnding love and connection - sometimes where you least expect it. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy lives to open your hearts to Sam and Laura - this is their story.

We hope you enjoy the show.

In A Moment began as a oneact play by Tammy Tresillian: a slice-of-life in which two very diferent characters meet & fnd common ground.

Tammy asked Tim Jackman to help bring the piece to the stage for the Short & Sweet Festival, after which Tim pestered her to write a full-length script.

When Tammy suggested they collaborate, fellow actors became co-writers, & this little play-that-could took fight.

Long-listed for the QTC Premier’s Drama Award, it was fnessed in conjunction with Playlab Theatre, before its debut at the 2021 Anywhere Theatre Festival. Thankyou to our families for their patience, Pip Theatre for their support, and to you for supporting local theatre.

Spread the word and subscribe!

Andrew began his theatrical career at 14, by lying about his age and travelling to London for part-time jobs in West End theatres. Most notably as an Usher on the original production of Evita and Stage Door Keeper for The Mousetrap. He later won small roles on UK TV and worked in several productions for Kent Repertory theatre and performed in pantomimes across England. He later combined his passion for travelling and acting by appearing in English speaking productions at the Mermaid Theatre Copenhagen, regional tours of South Africa, as well as some TV advertising in Australia. As a local, Andrew has enjoyed many PIP Theatre shows and is delighted now to move from audience to cast member, as part of In a Moment.
