The students will then purchase their own supplies. Competent Person Scaffold Builder NEW! 3/14 3/17 M-Th 8 am-3 pm $199 This class provides classroom and hands-on training on how to build scaffolding. The course provides the opportunity to test for the Scaffold Training Institute of Texas national certification. Successful completion of this class may assist you in obtaining employment with a sub-contractor for Phillips 66. Students must be able to climb to high elevations, have a familiarization with basic hand tools and must be able to read a tape measure. The Business and Industry Services (BIS) Center has the flexibility to custom tailor training and education to help you or your business maximize these resources in the following areas:

Safety Training PTC’s Safety Services include safety consultation, training, and development services. In addition, we offer annual OSHA compliance training or customized training. This program can help businesses with goals to include annual worker’s compensation premium reductions, decreased accident rates, and improved state or federal facility audits. Manufacturing Extension Agent Manufacturing extension agents are trained by the Oklahoma Department of Commerce to evaluate and determine eligibility for state incentives such as tax credits and sales tax exemptions. The Manufacturing Alliance offers all the free assistance you need to apply for the Quality Jobs incentive program, which gives qualifying Oklahoma companies tax rebates for expanding and creating new jobs. Outreach Specialist The Outreach Specialist works with a variety of educational institutions, organizations, and businesses to ensure that recruitment, enrollment, educational enhancement and placement services meet the needs of the diverse populations within the district. Agricultural Business Management The Agricultural Business Management program offers farm families a variety of services including Quicken record keeping, assistance with preparing farm plans, farm loans, financial statements, marketing, and tax planning. Bid Assistance Program The Bid Assistance program offers personalized services with bid leads, contracting opportunities, solicitation and proposal package review. In addition the program provides assistance with SAM registrations, and SBA certification programs, e-commerce with the federal government, and marketing research. Self Employment Training This program is designed to offer professional assistance in the preparation of a business plan, loan proposal or financial projections to obtain the money necessary to start a business or expand an existing business. The program provides business development classes and one-on-one counseling sessions in order to make the mission possible. Additionally, the Self Employment representative oversees a Certified Business Incubator facility designed to create and nurture the growth and development of a new or start-up business. Small Business Management The Small Business Management program benefits small business owners and managers by helping to improve their business and human resource management skills. Industry Training The industry training programs can be customized to fit specific industry and client needs. Pioneer Tech is your direct contact for Oklahoma’s Training for Industry Program (TIP) and Existing Industry program, which supplements training funds to expanding industries and provides training assistance for new skills training for current Oklahoma industries. Organizational and Leadership Development This program provides customized training support, along with coaching and consulting services for organizational leaders and employees. The Organizational and Leadership Development program also provides Franklin Covey’s Working at the Speed of Trust workshops and other customized training based on organizational needs. Plan Room Pioneer Technology Center’s Plan Room was established in 2003 with the help of community partners like Ponca City Development Authority and Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education. The Plan Room makes it possible for users to receive information on all construction projects that report to iSqFt and several engineering firms in Oklahoma with 24 hours a day access. As part of the Business Incubator facility, the Plan Room is a resource for local contractors to receive information needed to bid on commercial and government contracts. The Plan Room has consistently assisted local contractors in obtaining projects that impact their combined volumes at multi-million dollar levels. Contact Dawn Brakey @ 580.718.4261

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR OUR STUDENTS Full payment of fees is due at the time of enrollment. Class space is not reserved without fee payment. All special testing fees for certi cations are not included in the course fees. Cash, credit card or check is accepted to pay for course fees. The minimum for a credit card transaction is $20.

Pioneer Technology Center reserves the right to cancel classes, to change instructors, to alter time schedules, and to make any other changes necessary to facilitate the instructional process for the community’s adult students. All classes are subject to minimum enrollment requirements.

Anyone age 16 or older may enroll in a short-term class on a rst come, rst serve basis. Certain age regulations may apply.

Pioneer Technology Center is not responsible for loss of or damage to any personal items left on campus.

ENROLLMENT

Enrollment is taken by the Adult Training and Development staff Monday – Thursday, 8:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m., or Friday 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at Pioneer Technology Center, Ponca City. Call the Adult Training and Development Office at (580) 718-4223 for more information. (Office hours may vary due to holiday schedules and school breaks).

CRIME AWARENESS In compliance with the “Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act of 1990,” Pioneer Technology Center shall make available upon request an annual security report containing information in regard to campus security policies and campus crime statistics relating to the institution.

REFUND POLICY The class fee is refundable in full if the class is cancelled by the technology center. Student requested tuition refunds for short-term classes are as follows: Before class begins

TRANSFERRING Students may transfer to another class prior to the second class meeting of both classes. There will be a $10 processing fee. The difference in the class fee less the processing fee will be refunded. If the student transfers to a class with a higher fee, the student will pay the difference in the class fee plus the $10 processing fee.
