Join the Curious Young Creatives for a drop-in session where you can design a flag that represents your identity, your community or stand in allyship!

Quiet Pride

A quiet space for a moment of calm with the opportunity to take part in rainbow weaving.

Join us for performances from local poets and singers, in a cosy space to celebrate talent and community

Celebrate Pride with live performances from an array of artists ready to take the stage with their incredible talent, including That Clare, Jake Holt, Sapphires Drag Hour and guests

Middlesbrough Pride Parade 12pm

Grab a flag, bring your energy, and join our Parade as we fill the streets with pride, joy and solidarity. This parade is open to everyone - families, friends, allies and LGBTQIA+ community members.

Time To Talk 1pm - 3pm

A safe space for trans and nonbinary people and their families and friends to talk, share experiences and build a community over a cuppa.

Progress Pride Flag Installation

10am - 4:30pm

Find the Progress Pride Flag displayed proudly in MIMA’s Atrium window - a perfect selfie spot!

Family Art Trolley & Picnic

11am - 3pm

The Family Art Trolley is a handson maker space packed with lots of exciting things.

Pick up a picnic from the MIMA Kitchen for £1 per child when visiting the Family Art Trolley.

We Are Family 10am - 4:30pm

Discover “We Are Family” a celebration of children’s books and poetry. Explore works by authors from diverse backgrounds, enriching our understanding of the world around us.
