Jack and Jill of America, Inc., founded in 1938, is an organization of mothers with children ages 2 – 19, dedicated to nurturing future African American leaders by strengthening children through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving and civic duty. The Lake Spivey Georgia Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. presents the 3rd Annual “Pink Skirts & Blue Polos Charity Golf Classic” on April 15th, 2023 at the Harbor Club Golf Course on Lake Oconee. This event consists of an 18-hole golf tournament, golf clinics, food and beverage experiences along the golf course and the “19th Hole Experience” VIP reception to recognize all sponsors, participants and winners. The “Pink Skirts & Blue Polos Charity Golf Classic” has already made an impact on Henry and Clayton County families raising over $51,000 in its first two years. Net proceeds of this event will benefit:
BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF HENRY COUNTY: A three- year partnership with the Shaquille O’Neal Boys and Girls Club will provide an outdoor space for the children to include a Tranquility Zone (completed), A Friendship Garden and The Big Play Space.
MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION: A national non-profit organization that creates life changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
THE JACK AND JILL OF AMERICA FOUNDATION: Our National Organization’s philanthropic arm that donates to Health and wellness, village grants for STEM, reading and college prep programs across the country and well as to HBCU Gap fund programs
