Together, We Make a Difference

Every year at Middle Campus, each 3rd through 6th-grade class participates in a service project that connects students to the community beyond Pinewood's walls. Through the process, our students learn about real-world challenges and come to understand that they have the power and capability to make a difference. Students meet at lunch, make posters, work with their teachers, and present their achievements at their weekly campus assembly. Collected over 86 pounds of trash, 7 pounds of recyclables, and 191 cigarette filters from Linda Del Mar Beach in Pacifica

Collected 71 pounds of used batteries, donated them to a recycling center, and kept them out of landfills
