Memorial Awards

Lynn Riches Memorial Award

Awarded annually to the student who has, and will continue to emulate, the positive qualities Lynn Riches exhibited in his life. These qualities include courage, optimism, good humor, and most of all love of life and family, of people, of friends and fun.

Rob Kartozian Memorial Award

Awarded annually to one student in 8th–12th grades. A member of the Pinewood Class of 1988, Rob lost his life in an alcohol-related car accident during his junior year. Following his death, his parents established a memorial scholarship in his honor with the intent that the award would go to a student in each grade who, like Rob, is exhibiting increased interest in academics and extracurriculars.
