Pine Street is a Welcoming Church, Glorifying God through Worship, Fellowship and Service in the World.
Fifteenth Sunday after Pentecost
PRAYER OF P
Great God, maker and reconciler of the earth and all that dwells here, champion of the poor, who humbles the proud, in this hour of worship draw us all into new unity with you. May we know to whom we belong and act faithfully to care for what you have entrusted to us. Help us, O God of our salvation, to complete the work you have begun. Amen.

SALUTATION
One: The Lord raises the poor from the dust Many: and lifts up the needy from the ashes.
INTROIT O Praise God
Marty Gruver
Eric Thiman O praise God in his holiness: praise him in the firmament of his power.
† Those able are invited to stand Bold text is read or sung by all
One: Remember, O people, the needs of the poor and the suffering of the downtrodden, and hold to account all who are in high positions,
Many: for God, our Savior desires everyone to know the truth that they are loved.
One: God will raise the poor from the dust and make them sit with princes. Many: So let us offer supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings for everyone
One: for the Lord is high above all nations, yet nothing is below God’s notice.
Many: There is one God; and in Christ Jesus one mediator who gave himself a ransom for all. Let us praise the Lord!
† HYMN 327 From All That Dwell Below the Skies (Psalm 117) LASST UNS ERFREUEN
Holy God, we confess that we are too concerned with our own peace. We seek the comfort of silence, and ignore the cries of the oppressed. We are inwardly focused, missing your call to serve the world in justice and love. Forgive us, O God. Equip us to fulfill your will for a world in which all know dignity and all are treated with equity, as your beloved children.
SILENCE FOR PERSONAL CONFESSION
One: God our Judge is also our Savior. The good news is sure: Many: In Jesus Christ, we are forgiven. Thanks be to God!

The Rev. Seelman
The Apostles’ Creed I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
† THE PEACE
One: The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Many: And also with you.

ANTHEM All Things Are Yours, My God Carl Schalk
All things are Yours, my God, Creator of all that exists, all wisdom, all beauty, and might. You made me, You own me, Your glory surrounds me; I live by your mercy and love. All things are Yours, and so am I. All things are Yours, my Lord, Redeemer of all who have sinned, new Master of all who repent. You sought me, You found me, You call me, You lead me; now have me live only for You. All things are Yours, and so am I. All things are Yours, my Guide, renewer and giver of life, transformer of hearts and of minds. Renew, transform, inspire me, refine me, and give me the spirit of Christ. All things are Yours, and so am I. “All things are Yours, so live like the heir that you are, entrusted with all that you have. Faithful, prudent, daring, caring, as giving as I am toward you. All things are Yours, and you are Mine.”
