Teach us, good Lord, to serve you as you deserve; to give and not to count the cost; to fight and not to heed the wounds; to toil and not to seek for rest; to labor and not to ask for any reward, save that of knowing that we do your will; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

God of Grace, we have harmed your children whom you love. Because we do not understand, we reject, demonize, and hurt. Forgive us, in your infinite love, and teach us to welcome all your children until our hospitality reaches as wide as your mercy. Help us to understand others as we wish to be understood. Guide us to love one another as you love us.
