September Event Recaps Member and Officer of the Month

September was a whirlwind, and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way! We kicked things off with the food fair, and wow… our taste buds are still recovering. From savory bites to sweet treats, every booth brought the flavor and the fun. It was the perfect way to start the month surrounded by amazing food, great friends, and so much positive energy.
Next up was the DCM (Division Council Meeting), where we got to shift gears and dive into learning, leadership, and collaboration. It was super informative, surprisingly fun, and such a great way to connect with members from other clubs. We left feeling more inspired and ready to take on the year. Our meetings this month were the glue that held it all together, full of laughs, ideas, and the kind of chaotic teamwork we love. If this is how we started the year, we can’t wait to see what October brings. Stay awesome, stay involved, and keep roaring, dinos!

Hey Piner Dinos! I hoped you all had a super fun September. I will say this month wasn’t as eventful as last months but it was forsure a fun month. We got to start club meetings again and we got a lot of new members. I am so glad to have met some amazing new key clubbers and returning ones as well. We started the month off with some lunch meetings discussing our plans for the whole school year and upcoming events! We also had an amazing food fair filled with delicious foods and some fun club bonding.
We also had a super fun DCM (Division Council Meeting), where we got to learn more about UNICEF and we wrote some letters to kids in need. I also got awarded an award for being a part of the Division Leadership Team. I am so excited to see what October brings! We got to spend some time afterschool this month to get a head-start on the homecoming float for the hoco parade in October!

At our September DCM, the energy was off the charts! We got loud (in the best way) with spirit chants, brushing up on our favorite cheers and hyping each other up as Fall Rally gets closer and closer. You could really feel the excitement building, and we can already tell this year’s rally is going to be unforgettable.

We also took some time to give back in a meaningful way. Everyone brought their creativity and kindness to the table as we made heartfelt cards for terminally ill children. It was such a touching part of the day, seeing members pour love and encouragement into every message and drawing. Whether you helped design, write, or simply showed up ready to make someone’s day a little brighter, thank you. Your efforts made a real impact, and it’s moments like these that show just how strong and compassionate our community is.

Food Fair was a big s everyone who came out and supported us the event was full of tasty treats and great energy. We enjoyed everything from sweet conchas and colorful fruit skewers to savory spam musubi bowls and refreshing Hawaiian drinks. It was truly a feast for the senses.

Because of your amazing support we raised $208 to help fund our upcoming club activities. A huge shoutout to all the members who worked hard behind the scenes cooking, serving, setting up, and keeping everything running smoothly. our effort and enthusiasm made the Food Fair a memorable and delicious event.

We picked Alex N. to be the member of the month because of the energy that he brings to every event that he volunteers for, and for his great collaboration in the Food Fair.
We picked Cristian F. to be the officer of the month for being in the dinosaur costume and for attending all of this months events.
