The Pine Press 7/20/2010 Ruminations and Regurgitations I normally talk about how much I love summer, but I want to say it again: I love summer. I spent a week at my grandparent’s and got to swim in the lake a lot and go kayaking and tubing and there is really nothing better. The Education Committee has been having a good time lately: we discussed the future of the Pine Press and turning it into a blog or just doing something different. However, the consencus was that we all just really like having a big fat Pine Press to read every two weeks. So for the time being, we’ll be keeping the current format! We then talked about ways to get more submis-
sions than the 14 we get every week from the Education Commitee members. We all agreed that it’s important to submit to the Pine Press and try to get more relevant information from ALL members so that it’s more interesting and useful. We also decided to do a photo contest! Submissions are due on the 31st of July, and you can send in whatever photo you want. Enrique Iglesias A Critical Analysis
Enrique tells the story of a love gone wrong. Although Enrique will not admit fault for ruining the relationship he does concede that he may have tried a little too hard.
unreasonable to assume that Enrique hired Dog the Bounty Hunter to track down his special girl. Knowing his special girl will run and she will hide Dog is the best choice to get results.
The story begins with a couple falling in love. Enrique and his special girl work very hard to make the relationship work. While the relationship is flourishing Enrique becomes rather wealthy from his acclaimed singing career. Even though Enrique has become wealthy his relationship begins to suffer from the strain of this career. Enrique tells his special girl that if things get tough we’ll just try harder. His special girl doesn’t have the same blind faith in the relationship as Enrique so she leaves.
After explaining to his special girl what will happen if she leaves Enrique also explains why his doing this. Enrique is a man uncomfortable with change and cannot forget the past so he will do what it takes to maintain the status quo. With his wealth Enrique has many means at his disposal making him proficient at committing crime.
Enrique cannot handle being dumped by someone so he issues a statement: ‘I will not follow you, but you cannot escape my love.’ Enrique’s love is obviously referencing the bounty hunters he hired to chase down special girl. It is not
Enrique is a hardened criminal willing to kidnap people if he deems it necessary. Kidnapping is federal offense and a felony, if you see Enrique Iglesias do not approach him. Call the police immediately and report his location, but do not follow him. Your safety is more important than his capture. Matt Winland Toad Lane
