HI, THERE! Joana Amorim is a certified Herbalist with over 15 years of experience. She runs Sylvatica Forest Farms with her husband where they grow a variety of mushrooms, medicinal herbs, and native and fruit trees. Joana started her studies in Portugal with a focus on Etnobotany and moved to the USA in 2015 to continue to expand her knowledge about Ecology and sustainable organic farming practices rooted in Agroforestry. She is passionate about teaching these skills to others and cares deeply about traditional ecological knowledge and the important role it plays for a resilient future. Michelle Bouton comes our way from Tennessee, where she maintains an integrative health clinic offering acupuncture and herbal medicine. A beekeeper, gardener, and artist, Michelle approaches 'cultivating health' by crowding out the bad with the good! Join her in the new Liminal Lounge to round out your retreat weekend with delicious smells, aromatic teas, lovely music, and gentle healing tailored just for you.

Andrew Ozinskas lives on his family's 9th generation farm in the hills of Owen County Kentucky, where he manages the forest for food, medicine, wildlife, and sees clients as a clinical herbalist. In practice since 2003, his love for the plants emerged as a young child, and he feels very fortunate to have made a living through this relationship with nature throughout his life.

Paula Swope Before building a business that helps people heal, manifest, and rise, Paula raised $60 million for underserved communities. Now, she raises consciousness. In addition to her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, she’s a Chopra-certified coach, a disruptor of disempowering narratives, and a soul-first entrepreneur who believes healing should be raw, funny, and backed by science. Her mission is to inform and educate soul seekers about nontraditional pathways to healing and success. Whether teaching at a retreat or visiting Graceland (you never know where you’ll see her), Paula is living proof that self-empowerment can be equal parts depth and edge. Jamie Dickerhoof is a Holistic Health Therapist, Mastery-Level B.E.S.T. Practitioner, Certified Energy Codes® Coach, Clinical Master Herbalist (CCMH), and Certified Nutritionist Consultant (CNC). She is the creator of the Human Soundcheck method, an integrative approach that blends tuning-fork therapy, Jin Shin Jyutsu, breathwork, vagus-nerve regulation, Pranic Healing, and mindset work to restore balance and coherence to the nervous system. Jamie is also the co-founder—along with Paula Swope, of SPA: Spiritual Power & Alchemy, a collaborative personal-development collective offering workshops, retreats, and integration experiences focused on healing, clarity, and conscious transformation.

WORKSHOPS SPA Breathwork Reset Join Paula and Jamie for a transformative two-hour workshop that uncovers the incredible power of your breath. You’ll start with foundational breathwork and progressively dive into deeper, more profound techniques designed to reconnect you with your body as it was meant to function. Nervous System Recalibration Join Paula and Jamie for a transformative workshop designed to recalibrate your nervous system. This session blends breathwork, micro-movement, humming, and gentle sound frequencies to quiet the fight-or-flight response and bring your body back into coherence. Mushroom Inoculation with Sylvatica Forest Farm In this workshop, you will learn how to inoculate your own edible mushrooms on logs! This is a great way to grow mushrooms in your backyard, in a forest or on your farm. With a one-time inoculation, your log can fruit for up to 6 years! We will be inoculating Shiitake mushrooms in their desired species of wood, giving you an understanding of the basics of growing mushrooms so that you can do it yourself with many other types of mushrooms. You will also learn about their culinary and medicinal uses and best ways to turn them into shelf-stable products. Herbal Remedies With Sylvatica Forest Farm In this workshop, I invite you to explore a deeper relationship with plant medicine. We will dive into different ways to effectively extract plant medicine to create potent medicinal products. My aim is to facilitate you to feel empowered to build your own home Apothecary by making your own herbal remedies that you can use and share with your loved ones. We will go over various methods to dilute/extract plant constituents with different solvents and make a few products for you to take home. Wild Food and Medicine of the Early Spring Forest with Andrew Ozinskas As the sun travels north and the ground gains warmth, while daylight flows freely through still-bare branches, spring ephemeral plant life proliferates. Get a taste of the deeply nourishing and cleansing medicine of early spring as we focus on the forest floor in its first stirrings of the growing season. After a crisp winter, the diverse abundance of leafy spring wild greens can boost our immune system function and support the transition into the warm months. Spring wildflowers begin to emerge and tasty shoots sprout forth. Through engaging more deeply with the seasonal transition of the botanical realms, we also facilitate the processing of our own internal seasons as we fortify and prepare for the longer days ahead.

Primordial Sound Meditation Training Paula will lead a profound exploration of Primordial Sound Meditation (PSM) that reconnects you to the universe’s vibration at the moment of your birth. Based on timeless Vedic wisdom, this workshop will guide you through the mechanics of stress release, the power of mantras, and the science behind PSM’s ability to reduce inflammation, strengthen intuition, and restore biological balance. The Liminal Lounge A quiet drop-in sanctuary tucked between the weekend's activities, the Lounge is for those who need a little quiet time or a nurturing check-in. Create your own essential oil rollerball for spring, unwind with watercolor play, or schedule a one-on-one wellness session with Michelle. B.E.S.T.
