Guadagno Makes Campaign Stop in Chatsworth New Jersey’s Lieutenant Governor and Republican Gubernatorial Nominee Discussed Her Commitment to Lower Property Taxes, Stop a ‘Sanctuary State’ Movement and Support the Ag Industry During Her Visit to the Pines By Douglas D. Melegari Staff Writer
WOODLAND—Republican gubernatorial candidate and Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno stumped for votes in the “Capital of the Pines” last weekend during the 20th Annual Chatsworth Cranberry Festival. Guadagno is running against Phil Murphy, the Democratic nominee for governor. She pulled up to the festival grounds in the Chatsworth section of Woodland Township around 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 21. She was greeted by several local officials and campaign supporters, including Burlington County Freeholder Ryan Peters, a Republican who is running for an open state Assembly seat in the 8th Legislative District; Mark Herndon, a Republican Woodland Township Committeeman; and Deborah Buzby-Cope, Bass River Township’s mayor. They met in a field near the intersection of County Route 563 and Savoy Boulevard. Within two minutes of her arrival, PHOTO BY RYAN MARCHESE
