Ducky Derby Returns to the Du Quoin State Fair

On September 3, the 2023 Ducky Derby Dash to benefit Special Olympics Illinois race day begins at 1pm and the ducks begin their race at 3pm.

Prior to the duck race, volunteers come together and place numbered tags on the bottom of every duck that plans to race. Each number corresponds to someone who has adopted a duck. The ducks are carried to the water and then dumped in at the start of the race!
