WHAT IS Casa Grande Main Street?
Casa Grande Main Street is a nonprofit 501c3 organization working on downtown revitalization and historic preservation. Casa Grande Main Street works to revitalize historic and traditional commercial areas. The Main Street approach was developed to save historic commercial architecture and the fabric of American communities, but has become a powerful economic development tool as well. The Main Street program is designed to improve all aspects of Downtown, producing both tangible and intangible benefits. Strengthening public participation and making Downtown a fun place to visit are as critical to Main Street’s future as recruiting new businesses, rehabilitation buildings and expanding parking. Building on Downtown’s inherent assets–rich architecture, personal service, traditional values and most of all a sense of place–the Main Street approach has rekindled downtown cooperation, entreprenuerism and civic concern. It has earned national recognition as a practical strategy appropriately scaled to local resources and conditions.
MISSION STATEMENT
To support the vision of Historic Downtown by enhancing the economic vitality, promoting and marketing the District, fostering partnerships and acting as the lead advocate for Historic Downtown and it’s historic preservation.
VISION STATEMENT
Downtown will be an exciting, visually appealing, easily accessible, safe, balanced mix of uses that integrates residential, office, retail, entertainment, dining and cultural and civic activities that is recognized as the heart of the community.
Award Winning Neon Sign Park
Casa Grande Main Street, through a grant from Partners in Preservation and American Express Foundation, as well as through a partnership with Casa Grande Valley Newspapers Inc., was able to authentically restore 14 historic signs that now serve as an outdoor museum between the Downtown commercial district to the Downtown arts, culture, and entertainment district.

Hello. I would like to introduce myself. My name is Esther Moreno. I was born and raised here in Casa Grande. I am married to Johonson Moreno and have five children that were also born and raised in CG. My parents were business owners here in Downtown CG. I believe that is what motivated me to also become a business owner. I currently am the owner of DownTown Ice Cream Shop, located in Downtown Casa Grande, and also am involved with Downtown Mainstreet. I have been a RN in the community for the last 22 years.
RICHARD ROSALES // SECRETARY

My name is Joe Leos, and I was born and raised in Casa Grande. I attended Arizona State University after graduating from CGUHS in 2005 and obtained a degree in Tourism Development and Management. For ten years, I worked in the luxury resort industry. After years of working in the corporate sector, I realized my true calling was community and giving back. In 2019, I joined the Casa Grande Fire Department and discovered my real calling in life. Giving back to the community that helped shape me has been one of the most fulfilling things I’ve ever done. Jessica, my wife, recently became a registered nurse and now works at our local hospital. Our two children are our world, and we consider ourselves fortunate to be able to raise them in the community where I grew up.
