FOR 150 YEARS IN THE HEART OF SALENTO Pimar stands out for its unique tradition in the extraction and shaping of natural stone through production processes that, for 150 years, have embodied the essence of Italian manufacturing skills in the treatment of a material with a history that goes back to the dawn of civilisation. The limestone extracted from the quarries is used in countless areas of design and construction, from architecture to restoration works, from furniture to works of art.
THE VALUE OF THE QUARRIES Pimar’s activity begins with the extraction of natural stone from the company owned quarries that extend over an area of approximately 40 hectares. Pimar’s age-old limestone is a natural resource processed and transformed thanks to the expertise of master craftsmen and the use of state-of-the-art machinery.
CORE BUSINESS The experience acquired over more than a century has enabled Pimar to build up its unique know-how in the extraction and processing of natural stone. Over the years, Pimar has gained a dominant position in the market through the unrivalled quality of its product and its capacity to manage major architectural projects at national and international level. FAÇADES & THE OUTDOORS The attraction of Pimar’s natural stone, with its extraordinary capacity to absorb and reflect light, finds expression in the realisation of elegant façades for public, commercial and residential buildings, as well as in giving shape to urban, residential and public installations. The cladding elements produced by Pimar can be anchored by gluing and by mechanical means (ventilated façades). The great experience and know-how acquired over the years, along with a state-of-the art technical office, enable Pimar to take up any challenge and meet any application requirement.

DESIGN FACTORY With sculptural creativity Pimar’s extensive product line has now acquired a new strength: the stone blocks come to life through the interpretations of artists and designers as functional and decorative pieces for the residential and hospitality sectors.
PIMART Pimar is at the forefront in the field of monument restoration works, with stone integration interventions, and replacement or reconstruction of architectural and sculptural elements.
PIMAR COMFORT Pimar offers thermal insulation with the stone on ventilated façades and the innovative SOOD module made by Pimar.
