What’s been filmed at Discovery Park? BBC Worldwide chose Discovery Park as a location for James May’s Cars of the People, a BBC Two series first aired in August 2014 where the former Top Gear presenter explores how the car became an everyday part of people’s lives. Discovery Park welcomed The Tunnel’s production team, Kudos Film and TV, who based themselves on site for the duration of their 2012 shoot and again in 2014 for the shoot of their second series. In 2012, World War Z’s production team used the offices and laboratories of Discovery Park to shoot scenes where Brad Pitt’s character in the sci-fi film attempts to find a cure. The crew of Derren Brown’s Fear and Faith for Channel 4 used Discovery Park as the headquarters of a fake pharmaceutical company.
