Filipino language program for adults

(MAFTI) wrapped up their first session of 12 Filipino language classes for adults at Tec Voc High School on Tuesday, June 26. Class instructor, Victoria Cabrera, who is also a teacher at Tyndall Park School and MAFTI Vice-President, delivered the

opening address and presented the students’ accomplishments – with the help of student emcees speaking in Filipino – and videos from the classroom. MAFTI advisor Gemma Dalayoan told Pilipino Express that, “The Filipino Language Program for Adults has been a regular project of MAFTI since 1978… this year’s program is the
