WINNIPEG – This past holiday season has seen a rise in cases of the flu or flu-like illnesses in Winnipeg, even among Pilipino Express staff. According to the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA), hospitals and emergency departments across the city are extremely busy due to significant increases in emergency department visits and hospital admissions arising from influenzalike illnesses.
