In this 5-Day summer camp, teens will gain new skills and confidence to create meals, discover new flavors and gain independence in the kitchen.Throughout the week, campers trace the path from earth to plate, with visits to community gardens and markets. Young chefs will touch vegetables and experience the rich scent of soil and sunshine that built the food – and then under the guidance of award-winning chefs and respected nutritionist/director, learn how to turn those ingredients into delicious meals by harvesting and selecting the best pieces, combining them in innovative ways, and presenting the foods in recipes that appeal to all the senses.
