We began the semester by taking our annual trip to New Orleans for formal. This trip was a success and it's always

Next up on our calendar was Parents Weekend, which was a great chance for parents and families to visit campus and get to know the brothers. The weekend kicked off with a reception at the chapter house Parents were able to meet our members and get a tour of the house, while enjoying some delicious food and drinks. It was a great opportunity for our parents to see the community we have built at the Omicron Chapter. Executive Council and Omicron Club members were introduced, and we discussed our plans and goals for the semester ahead

"Bound together in common loyalty"

This semester, for the first time since spring 2019, we were able to have our two largest parties: Hurricane and Riverboat. We gathered as a whole for week long entertainment, consisting of bands, DJs, date parties, and a casino night.

In late April, we hosted our first Points for Pups Philanthropy Event. Sororities gathered in the front yard for a volleyball tournament to support the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter. Congratulations to Alpha Omicron Pi, who emerged victorious from the fierce competition. The event was an incredible success, raising over $2000 to support the shelter's mission of providing care and love to homeless animals. Everyone had a great time and we now plan to host this event annually.

Brother Weldon and three other members of the Culverhouse Investment Management Group achieved outstanding results, taking first place at the University of Southern California Stock Pitch Competition and second place at The University of Michigan Engage Undergraduate Investment Conference. Their impressive performance was a result of their compelling pitch, a short of Clear Securities (Ticker: YOU).

help of local businesses, they were able to raise over $60,000 for local kids and families in need.

Brother Robbie Khalil received the Order of Omega Outstanding Fraternity President Award for his 2021-2022 Archon term. Robbie was also awarded the Pi Kappa Phi National Archon of the Year award this past January at the Pi Kapp College for Chapter Officers, a huge honor.

Talks About the Brothers "Bound together in common loyalty"

Earlier this semester, Brother Jameson Jonseof started his own small business: Crimson Charge Crimson Charge is a company offering portable charging stations in a variety of restaurants and bars throughout Tuscaloosa, so that students and visitors' cell phones stay charged throughout the night. With the help of Brother Harry Mclawhorn, Crimson Charge earned first-place in the Aldag Student Business Plan Competition, hosted by the University of Alabama Entrepreneurship Institution. You can check it out for yourself at crimsoncharge.net

Congratulations to Brother Adam Byck for winning our annual Brother of the Year award. Byck has done a lot for our chapter and has been one of the main reasons for the recent improvement of our fraternitywide average GPA As the 2021-2022 Scholarship Chair, he showed his commitment to the chapter's academic success by helping the new members navigate their transition into college, providing valuable resources and study tips.

The new website is now up. This site replaces our previous website, which was difficult to update and thus, has remained largely unchanged since we moved into our new house in December 2013. You will notice that it is still a work in progress but there are sections for Executive Council, The Housemother, The Omicron Club, a history of the Chapter, a Photo Gallery of the House, a Philanthropic section and much more The biggest part of the website is the events section, rush section, and the Omicron community section. Please see below for a more in-depth description of the content:

Events Calendar – We will have an active calendar on the site which can be easily updated by the Social Chairman to allow brothers and alumni to see the latest activities at the house and plan accordingly One of the challenges we all face are the changing football game times, which impact our pre and postgame activities. This new Events Calendar will provide users with the most up to date information to allow you to plan your visits. Rush – There is now an easy way to submit recommendations for Summer Rush on the site as well with on-click access to the Rush Chairman Our fraternity is only as strong as a members, so always be looking for potential members who seem to have what it takes to be an Omicron member.

Omicron Community – We will also be adding a special Community section for Brothers and Alumni. This will allow you to search for brothers via our updated Alumni database and we will soon be adding the ability to purchase Pi Kappa Phi house prints, coozies, pins, and other items. Keep checking here as this section grows over the summer

THE BOX

A house, a grip, A badge, a song, An emblem. These do not make the fraternity.

It is the unseen things: Friendship, brotherhood, Character, honor, Courage, ideals. These make the fraternity and the man.
