There are constantly several modeling jobs, gigs, shows, and photoshoots going on at all times in the industry, 365 days a year. In all my years of model management experience, I have not gone more than a week without finding a gig for at least one

of my models, be it big or small. The key is finding them and then landing a successful submission.

I won’t lie to you or exaggerate reality – if you’re set on searching fora gig in a small or unpopular area, your chances are going to be slim to none. Most of the action in model life will occur only in the major industrial cities; areas such as New York, Boston, Florida, Atlanta, the DMV, Texas, the Carolinas, Chicago, and California. Occasionally, however, projects may pop up in small areas as well.

Your job as a manager is to keep your eyes peeled for all opportunities.

Six years later, this incredible woman is still doing her thing and in fact, is taking even bolder steps these days and making stronger moves.
