What means polyphenols?

The polyphenols are organic molecules, present in the plant world (red fruits, red wine tannin, citrus fruits, green tea, apple, oignons….). They have beneficial effect on the health, with the help of their natural anti oxydant rule. We use it to prevent and treat some sickness, like cancer, inflammatory or cardiovascular sickness. They are also used as an additive in the cosmetic, subject we are very involved with !

An antioxidant extract of polyphenols: Polyphenols are often extracted from the grapes’ seeds. They are the most powerful anti-aging active molecules in the plant world. They preserve the skin from the negative effects of free radicals (responsible for 80% of skin aging) to an extent that has never been challenged to this day. The grape and the wine is naturally rich in phenolic compound : nithocyane, resveratrol and flavonoĂŻd are formed in the grape seeds and skin.

What are the polyphenol benefit for the skin : Grape polyphenols are highly powerful antioxidants, which are able to trap free radicals, responsible for 80% of the skin’s ageing.

Pelvetia Canaliculata : This seaweed is astoundingly adaptable and resilient and has an exceptional ability to spring back to life. After two weeks out of the water, it can fully re-hydrate itself by being soaked in water for a few minutes.
