Arval Headquarter Scandicci | 7000 mq/sqm | 2011 - 2015 Il progetto per la nuova sede della Arval, società leader a livello nazionale per il noleg gio di automezzi a lungo termine, è stato concepito come una saetta dalla quale scaturisce l’energia per il funzionamento stesso dell’edificio. Si tratta infatti di una struttura autosufficiente a livello energetico, con un forte impatto estetico che ne evidenzia la funzione. Le grandi vele, costituite da pannelli fotovoltaici in vetro, sono sostenute da una struttura in acciaio e si intersecano fino a fondersi con l’edificio creando una percezione di dilatazione degli spazi e di dinamicità scultorea. Le facciate, costituite principalmente da pannelli e infissi a nastro orizzontali, formano una sorta di bow-windows, distribuite apparentemente in modo casuale e raccordate in una soluzione d’angolo random con vetrate continue. I materiali, costituiti principalmente da vetro, acciaio e cemento, saranno utilizzati in modo da aumentare la percezione della saetta.
A008 The new Arval Headquarter project, an important national long term car renting leader firm, was thought as a thunderbolt from which the building working energy seems to spring out. It is an energetic level self sufficient structure, with a strong aesthetic impact which exalts its function. The wide sails made of photo-voltaic glass panels are sustained by a steel structure and twist on, up to dissolve into the building, creating a perception of widening spaces and sculptural dynamism. The facades, principally constituted by horizontal ribbon panels and frames, go to create a sort of bow-window, apparently distributed in a casual way and joined together in a random corner solution with continuous glass walls. Glass, cement and steel are the materials here used that exalt the perception of the thunderbolt.

Il corretto orientamento del volume, sviluppato in pianta sull’asse nord-sud, l’adeguato dimensionamento delle aperture, l’isolamento dell’involucro e l’uso dei pannelli fotovoltaici consentono di rag giungere elevati livelli di efficienza che collocano l’edificio in classe A . La struttura e gli elementi di chiusura verticali delle pareti sono realizzati con l’impiego delle tecnologie di prefabbricazione in cemento armato; il ricorso all’edilizia industrializzata garantisce un notevole contenimento dei tempi e dei costi di montag gio in cantiere. I dati dell’intervento si riassumono in un volume di 24.800 Mc. Dal punto di vista architettonico l’intervento si caratterizza per la leggerezza della struttura, conseguita dall’utilizzo di profili in acciaio a sezione ridotta, controventati. Le vele di copertura hanno un peso di soli 70 kg /mq circa e sembrano quasi gonfiarsi sotto l’azione del vento e si intersecano fino a fondersi con l’edificio, creando una percezione di dilatazione degli spazi e di dinamicità scultorea.
The correct orientation of the volume, developed on the north-south axis, the suitable sizing of the openings, the insulation of the envelope and the use of photovoltaic panels allow to reach high levels of efficiency that place the building in the class A . The structure and the vertical closing elements of the walls are made with the use of prefabrication technologies in reinforced concrete; the use of industrialized construction guarantees a significant reduction in time and costs of assembly on site. The data of the work can be summarized in a volume of 24,800 Mc. From an architectural point of view, the intervention is characterized by the lightness of the structure, achieved by the use of braced steel profiles with a reduced section. The roof sails have a weight of only 70 kg /sqm and almost seem to inflate under the action of the wind and intersect until they blend with the building, creating a perception of expansion of spaces and sculptural dynamism.

Monasterino della conoscenza Knowledge’s Monastery Siena | 1000 mq/sqm | 2016 - 2018 Le verdeg gianti colline del senese da secoli ospitano il Monasterino, risalente all’anno 1070, ormai totalmente integrato nel territorio. Il principale obiettivo dell’intervento di restauro è stato quello di riportare la struttura all’originario splendore, enfatizzandone i sug gestivi spazi esterni ed interni. Le logge, dotate di infissi discreti e contemporanei, divengono l’elemento distributivo dal quale ammirare l’incantevole campagna attraverso gli scorci che offrono.
In a fairytale corner of Tuscany stands a historic monastery dating back to 1070: a building sunk in the silence and solitude of the hills, which blends in harmoniously with the natural landscape. In the course of time the monastery was split into four units and destined for residential purposes, remaining in a state of neglect for over 10 years before being meticulously restored by the Florentine. The recovery operation marks the beginning of a new life for the structure, which will be converted into an exclusive School of Art: a space where students from all over the world will have the opportunity to live and study in a unique place full of charm, finding in the monastery a venue for education and living.

Il monasterino sarà trasformato in scuola d’arte, richiamando l’opera di mecenatismo già tentata nel Novecento e poi interrotta dalla seconda guerra mondiale. Gli ambienti della struttura accoglieranno giovani talenti da tutto il mondo che, seguiti da personale altamente qualificato, potranno studiare e sviluppare le proprie arti e passioni in un ambiente accogliente e stimolante. Gli spazi diverranno dunque casa e luogo di formazione.
The furnishings were mainly designed to measure and made by local craftsmen: Pierattelli Architetture examined solutions to meet the needs of the building’s designated new use, respecting the original architecture and in complete harmony with it, relying on the expertise and experience of local craftsmen for the realization. The lighting project for outdoor spaces was designed to support multiple configurations, from a more discreet presence to the most scenic possible, together with a sound diffusion system in the garden and outdoors for special events and initiatives.

Pieve Aldina Firenze | 2500 mq/sqm | 2021 - 2023 Il progetto di un boutique hotel nel Chianti, con un intervento di restauro e risanamento conservativo di un complesso storico realizzato nel XIII secolo come residenza di campagna di prelati e vescovi fiorentini, costituito da una villa, un “atelier” ed un volume originariamente adibito a fienile, totalmente indipendente. Il terreno appartenente alla proprietà è di circa 43 ettari. La piscina, situata su di un terrazzamento, gode della vista privilegiata sul campanile della Pieve di Santa Maria Novella, risalente al Medioevo. Il progetto prevede un boutique hotel esclusivo e lussuoso di 21 camere, un ristorante e l’ampliamento della piscina con area relax immersi nella campagna senese.
The project of a boutique hotel in the Chianti area, with a restoration and conservative rehabilitation of a historic complex built in the XIII century as a country residence for Florentine prelates and bishops, formed by a villa, an “atelier” and a volume originally used as a barn, totally independent. The land belonging to the property is approximately 43 hectares. The swimming pool, located on a terrace, enjoys a privileged view of the bell tower of the Pieve di Santa Maria Novella, dating back to the Middle Ages. The project includes an exclusive and luxurious 21 room boutique hotel, a restaurant and the extension of the swimming pool with a relax area immersed in the Sienese countryside.

La progettazione di un ristorante di alto livello indipendente dalla struttura incentiva la scelta di prodotti locali e biologici, contribuendo alla promozione dell’agricoltura sostenibile del territorio. The conversion project of the building complex into a boutique hotel preserves the old building, reducing the environmental impact and satisfying the sustainable tourist demand of the area. The design of a high-level restaurant independent of the structure encourages the choice of local and organic products, contributing to the promotion of sustainable agriculture in the area.

L’edificio con il suo aspetto monolitico tipico dell’architettura fascista si integra nel tessuto urbano dell’area di Novoli. Il progetto ne ha previsto la conversione in ostello apportando modifiche finalizzate a modernizzarne la struttura e a rispondere alle necessità della nuova destinazione d’uso. L’intervento di ristrutturazione ha però preservato i caratteri distintivi dell’edificio quali le grandi aperture, il travertino e gli ampi spazi comuni. The building with its monolithic appearance typical of fascist architecture is integrated into the urban fabric of the Novoli area. The project has provided for its conversion into a hostel by making changes aimed at modernizing its structure and meeting the needs of the new destination of use. However, the renovation has preserved the distinctive features of the building such as the large openings, the travertine and the large common areas.

Un’imponente scala, dalla particolare geometria, si snoda attraverso i sei livelli dell’edificio fino a giungere all’ultimo piano che, oltre alla presenza della piscina e dell’area solarium, offre uno splendido affaccio sulla città. La scala esterna è stata inserita all’interno di una struttura che funge da giardino verticale. Questo parallelepipedo verde dona all’austero edificio un aspetto più moderno e vivace.
An imposing staircase, with a particular geometry, winds through the six levels of the building until it reaches the top floor which, in addition to the presence of the swimming pool and the solarium area, offers a splendid view over the city. The external staircase was inserted inside a structure that serves as a vertical garden. This green parallelepiped gives the austere building a more modern and lively appearance.

Hotel Number Nine Firenze | 3500 mq/sqm | 2009 - 2012 Ricavato all’interno di una nobile residenza del ‘600, nel cuore più antico di Firenze, a due passi dalle Cappelle Medicee e dal Duomo, Firenze Number Nine coniuga arte, bellezza ed eleganza, all’insegna dei più alti standard dell’ospitalità. La nuova struttura ricettiva si fonda su un’attenta cura dei dettagli, uno studio rigoroso dei percorsi e degli ambienti e la ricerca di uno spazio accogliente ed ospitale. Sin dalla progettazione della reception, l’intento progettuale è stato quello di rendere la zona d’ingresso e tutti gli ambienti al piano terra accoglienti, come fossero spazi privati.
Florence Number Nine, housed in a noble residence , from the ‘600, in the oldest heart of Florence, a stone’s throw from the Medici Chapels and the Duomo, combines art, beauty and elegance, to the highest standards of hospitality. The new accommodation facility is based on careful attention to detail, a rigorous study of the routes and environments and the search for a welcoming and hospitable space. Since the planning of the reception, the design intent has been to make the entrance area and all the ground floor’s rooms as welcoming as if they were private spaces.

La presenza di un camino sempre acceso, del soffitto a vela e degli archi perimetrali donano a questi ambienti un sapore distinto ed elegante, tipico degli ambienti aristocratici fiorentini. All’interno di questi spazi viene messa in mostra una vera e propria galleria d’Arte che ospita a rotazione opere di pittura, scultura, grafica e fotografia firmate da grandi artisti capaci di lasciare un segno speciale nella quotidianità di Firenze Number Nine.
The presence of an always lighted fireplace, of the sail ceiling and of the perimeter arches give these rooms a distinct and elegant flavor, typical of Florentine aristocratic environments. Within these spaces, a real art gallery is exhibited, which hosts works of painting, sculpture, graphics and photography in rotation signed by great artists capable of leaving a special mark on the everyday life of Florence Number Nine.

Questi particolari rendono inconsueti e magici gli ambienti del Firenze Number Nine dotandoli di un singolare fascino rinascimentale.
Rooms, distributed on the first, second and third floors, differ from each other in the services offered, dimensions, chromatic tones of the furnishing components, and covering materials. The distinctive elements are represented by walls’s boiserie - which reproduce in an original way the theme of the Florentine “ashlar” -, the imposing leather headboards, the curtains and furnishings’ s quality. These details make Florence Number Nine’s rooms unusual and magical, endowing them with a unique Renaissance charm.

Domux Home Firenze | 1200 mq/sqm | 2009 - 2011 Negli ultimi anni si sta sviluppando un nuovo modo di concepire gli spazi alberghieri che si ag giornano e si reinventano, ponendo al centro dell’attenzione il visitatore e la sua sensazione di “sentirsi a casa“; è il caso delle suites proposte da Domux Home nel centro di Firenze. Il progetto è stato varato quattro anni fa ed og gi a Firenze ci sono undici suites concentrate in Piazza della Repubblica e via Ricasoli, punti strategici per rag giungere i musei, le strade dello shopping e le principali attrattive turistiche. Domux Home si rivolge a una clientela raffinata ed esigente ed è caratterizzato da uno stile unico, per venire incontro ai gusti ed alle necessità sia dei singoli che delle famiglie.
In the last few years, a new way of conceiving Hotel has been developing that are updated and reinvented, placing the visitor in the mood of “feeling at home” at the center of attention; this is the case of the suites proposed by Domux Home in the center of Florence. The project was launched four years ago and today in Florence there are eleven suites concentrated in Piazza della Repubblica and Via Ricasoli, strategic points to reach museums, shopping streets and main tourist attractions. Domux Home is aimed at sophisticated and demanding customers and is characterized by a unique style, to meet the tastes and needs of both individuals and families.

Villa il Gioiello Firenze | 700 mq/sqm | 2019 - 2020 Villa il Gioiello sorge tra le colline che circondano Firenze, caratterizzate dalla presenza di strade strette e tortuose e delimitate da caratteristici muri irregolari in pietra. Un importante complesso edilizio, appartenuto ai Vettori nel ‘400 e nel ‘500, circondato dal verde e a pochi chilometri dal centro storico. I 700mq della villa si sviluppano su tre livelli più piano interrato collegati tra loro da un ascensore interno.
Villa il Gioiello is located in the hills near Florence, characterized by the presence of narrow and winding streets and delimited by characteristic irregular stone walls. An important building complex, which belonged to the Vettori in the 15th and 16th centuries, surrounded by greenery and a few kilometers away from the historic center. The villa’s 700sqm are on three levels plus a basement that are connected by an internal lift.

Nel bagno, il marmo bianco di Carrara e il marmo Verde delle Alpi si alternano nei rivestimenti delle pareti e nella pavimentazione dando vita ad un ambiente immersivo e ricercato. La doccia, con accesso da un’ampia porta in vetro, offre un’esperienza multisensoriale grazie al soffione Aquamoon dalla forma rotonda. In the bathroom, the white Carrara marble and the Verde delle Alpi marble alternate in the wall coverings and in the flooring, creating an immersive and refined environment. The shower, with access from a large glass door, offers a multisensory experience thanks to the round shaped Aquamoon shower head.

Sug gestiva la camera padronale, aperta sulla log gia e sul panorama delle colline toscane: uno spazio da scoprire, con angoli nascosti, che le nuove superfici e gli arredi rendono ricercato e intimo. La cura ai dettagli traspare dalle boiserie in legno di Noce Canaletto poste a soffitto e a parete, dove una porta nascosta conduce alla cabina armadio.
The master bedroom is sug gestive, opening onto the loggia and the panorama of the Tuscan hills: a space to discover, with hidden corners, which the new surfaces and furnishings make sophisticated and intimate. The attention to detail shines through from the wooden paneling in Canaletto walnut placed on the ceiling and on the wall, where a hidden door leads to the walk-in closet.

M House Fiesole | 1000 mq/sqm | 2020 - 2023 Villa Luce è una un’abitazione privata degli anni Cinquanta che si trova a Fiesole, nella cornice del sug gestivo paesag gio toscano, nei pressi di Firenze. La villa è attualmente divisa in due unità abitative indipendenti e sviluppata su tre piani con seminterrato. Il progetto di ristrutturazione e restyling prevede l’annessione dei due nuclei per dar vita a un’unica abitazione di oltre 1000 mq.
Villa Luce is a private house from the 1950s located in Fiesole, in the setting of the sug gestive Tuscan landscape, near Florence. The villa is currently divided into two independent housing units and developed on three floors with basement. The renovation and restyling project involves the annexation of the two nucleus to create a single house of over 1000 square meters.

In Borgo San Frediano, a Florentine district of the Oltrarno elected among the coolest in the world, made up of narrow streets and small craft shops that intertwine with new bars, boutiques, bistros and restaurants, Pierattelli Architetture has given new life to a 240 m2 apartment with a restyling devoted to a sense of elegant and functional hospitality, capable of reflecting both the identity and the eclecticism of the place.

Colori caldi e decisi, soluzioni artigianali su misura e materiali naturali definiscono spazi ampi e luminosi, dove le tonalità cromatiche neutre delle pareti contrastano con le nuance dei soffitti dipinti. Warm and decisive colours, tailor-made artisan solutions and natural materials define large and bright spaces, where the neutral chromatic tones of the walls contrast with the nuances of the painted ceilings. Villa a San Siro Milano | 2000 mq/sqm | 2024 Il progetto prevede la realizzazione di una villa unifamiliare nella zona di San Siro a Milano, articolata su due piani abitabili, un piano parzialmente seminterrato e uno interrato. La villa sarà caratterizzata da una corte a nord e da un tetto piano, concepiti per ridurre l’altezza dell’edificio rispetto alle strutture circostanti, così da limitare il suo impatto nel paesag gio. Sono stati previsti l’installazione di pannelli solari per la produzione di acqua calda sanitaria e pannelli fotovoltaici per la generazione di energia elettrica.

The project involves the construction of a single-family villa in the San Siro area of M ilan, divided into two habitable floors, a partially semi-basement floor and a basement. The villa will feature a courtyard to the north and a flat roof, designed to reduce the height of the building compared to the surrounding structures, so as to limit its impact on the landscape. The installation of solar panels for the production of domestic hot water and photovoltaic panels for the generation of electricity have been planned.

Il giardino sarà realizzato in modo semplice e sobrio, utilizzando materiali neutri come il Ceppo di Grè e creando aiuole di piante aromatiche mediterranee. Infine, si prevede una schermatura verde a siepe di bambù in vasche di contenimento lungo il confine del lotto. The garden will be created in a simple and sober way, using neutral materials such as Ceppo di Grè and creating flowerbeds of Mediterranean aromatic plants. Il progetto si caratterizza per l’uso di colori neutri e materiali naturali, come il legno di rovere termotrattato e la pietra naturale, in particolare il ceppo di grè. I rivestimenti esterni si alternano nelle facciate alle ampie aperture vetrate, che donano leg gerezza all’edificio e favoriscono una profonda connessione con l’ambiente circostante, creando così un’armonia perfetta tra gli spazi interni ed esterni.
The project is characterized by the use of neutral colors and natural materials, such as heat-treated oak wood and natural stone, in particular Ceppo di Grè. The external cladding alternates on the facades with large glass openings, which give lightness to the building and promote a deep connection with the surrounding environment, thus creating a perfect harmony between the interior and exterior spaces.

Maison Ache Firenze | 1200 mq/sqm | 2016 - 2018 È immersa nel cuore della campagna toscana, in uno dei paesag gi italiani più autentici, antichi e puri, la casa che una famiglia francese ha scelto di trasformare in un rifugio di pace e tranquillità. Il carattere dell’edificio è stato preservato nel rispetto dell’architettura e dello stile rurale tipico del luogo, mentre gli spazi interni sono stati reinterpretati secondo un equilibrato mix tra tradizione e contemporaneità, genius loci e sug gestioni etniche, per rispondere alle esigenze della vita familiare rimanendo fedeli alla natura e al fascino del territorio. L’intervento ha conservato gli aspetti più interessanti dell’impianto originale, attualizzando quelli più obsoleti. Nel progetto di interior è stato scelto di articolare ambienti razionali ed eclettici, che combinano materiali locali ad elementi di Paesi lontani che fanno parte delle memorie della famiglia, arredi su misura a icone di design e a busti in marmo.

In the heart of the Tuscan countryside, in one of the most authentically Italian landscapes, there is the house that a French family has chosen to transform into a haven of peace and quiet. The architecture and rural style of the building has been preserved, while the interior spaces have been reinterpreted with a balanced mix of tradition and modernity, genius loci and ethnic ideas, remaining true to the nature of the area. The intervention has preserved the most intresting parts of the original layout while updating the obsolete ones. In designing the interior it was decided to craft eclectic rooms, joining local materials with ethnic elements that are part of the family’s memories, custom-made furnishings with design icons and marble busts.

Tutti gli spazi sono permeati dai colori e dalle sug gestioni naturali del luogo; attraverso grandi aperture ad arco lo sguardo corre verso la campagna toscana. Immerso nel verde, l’edificio vanta un’ampia aia in cotto che pog gia su uno spazio originariamente adibito a limonaia e ora convertito in palestra, con una piscina a sfioro da cui godere di un panorama mozzafiato sulla vallata.

All spaces are permeated by colours and the place’s natural sug gestions, as the gaze soaks up the Tuscan countryside through large arched openings. Immersed in greenery, the building boasts a large terracotta courtyard that rests on a space originally used as a lemon house and now converted into a gym, with an infinity pool from which to enjoy a breathtaking view over the valley.

Palazzo Stefanelli Firenze | 1200 mq/sqm | 2019 - 2023 Dodici appartamenti di prestigio ricavati da Palazzo Stefanelli, situata in una delle principali vie sull’asse nord-sud del centro storico di Firenze. L’edificio fa parte del tessuto storico della città e deriva da un ampliamento avvenuto nella prima metà dell’Ottocento ad opera di Oreste Stefanelli tramite la fusione dell’immobile di partenza con due case a schiera allora esistenti ai lati dell’edificio. Gli spazi progettati mirano ad esaltare la tradizione, come si evince dalla cura posta nel restauro e nel ripristino di elementi strutturali quali travi e capriate o dei numerosi affreschi che decorano i soffitti degli ambienti. Questi elementi fortemente caratterizzanti sono stati affiancati ad arredi contemporanei e talvolta a reinterpretazioni di caratteri classici in chiave estremamente moderna.
Twelve prestigious apartments were obtained from Palazzo Stefanelli, located in one of the main streets on the north-south axis of the historic center of Florence. The building is part of the historical part of the city and derives from an expansion in the first half of the nineteenth century by Oreste Stefanelli through the merger of the starting building with two terraced houses then existing on the sides of the building. The designed spaces aim to enhance the tradition, as evidenced by the care taken in the restoration and restoration of structural elements such as beams and trusses or the numerous frescoes that decorate the ceilings of the rooms. These strongly characterizing elements have been added to contemporary furnishings and sometimes to reinterpretations of classic characters in an extremely modern key.

L’appartamento Luxury a doppio volume con zona giorno e soppalco adibito a studiolo collegati da una scala plastica con gradini rivestiti in legno di Noce Canaletto. Il soppalco regala una vista unica: la finestra che illumina lo studio, affaccia direttamente sul Duomo di Firenze. La scelta degli arredi è stata direzionata quasi eclusivamente a marchi Made in Italy come Lema, Flos, Molteni e Maxalto.
The double-volume Luxury apartment with living area and mezzanine used as a study are connected by a plastic staircase with steps covered in Canaletto Walnut. The mezzanine offers a unique view: the window that illuminates the studiolo, overlooks directly the Florence Cathedral. The choice of furnishings was directed almost exclusively to Made in Italy brands such as Lema, Flos, Molteni and Maxalto.

Miki è morbidezza, comfort e dinamicità. Una seduta composta da un morbido cuscino racchiuso da un guscio imbottito, curvilineo e protettivo. Versatile e armoniosa, la seduta può adattarsi a ogni ambiente per le declinazioni materiche che si applicano ai due elementi dai quali è formata. Una poltroncina di dimensioni contenute con piedistallo centrale pivotante che la rende ancora più libera nel suo utilizzo.

Red Button è una lampada in terracotta disegnata dallo studio Pierattelli Architetture e realizzata dalle sapienti fornaci Cotto Manetti in collaborazione con Flos.Il Corpo illuminante è composto da due elementi, il fusto ed il cappello, che assemblati compongono un’iconica forma plastica al cui interno si nasconde un modulo luminoso semicircolare dal quale scaturisce un delicato alone di luce. La particolarità risiede nel nascondere alla vista la fonte luminosa arretrandola rispetto al foro di uscita della luce, generando così un fascio luminoso morbido ed omogeneo senza ombreggiature nette e definite.

Red Button is a terracotta lamp designed by the Pierattelli Architetture studio and created by the expert Cotto Manetti furnaces in collaboration with Flos. The lighting body is composed of two elements, the stem and the cap, which when assembled make up an iconic plastic shape inside which a semicircular light module is hidden from which a delicate halo of light emerges. The peculiarity lies in hiding the light source from view by moving it backwards from the light exit hole, thus generating a soft and homogeneous light beam without sharp and defined shadows.
