In addition to social activities, both will focus on service to others, academic achievement, and creating a better world.

FOODIES, RELAX! We know. You’ve likely heard “not so good” stories about college food. We invite you to join us for a meal in our big and bright dining hall in the Commons to discover you can’t always believe what you hear. Our food is great! And so many choices. A Hot Bar where you can put together a full meat and/or vegetable meal. Or wait, maybe go with something from the Pizzeria, Deli, Grill, abundant Salad Bar, or Dessert Station. Yum!
QUICK NOW Busy, busy, busy is a common condition for most college students. But that doesn’t mean foregoing some of life’s best treats – like delicious coffee and bodyfueling snacks. Our Starbucks/Onthe-Go Café, also located in the Student Commons, is a perfect place for two speeds. When you have a few minutes to relax. And when you are in a rush and just want to grab and run.
GOOD FEELING Health-conscious eaters (and who isn’t these days?) find a good partner in our food options. Our menus clearly spell out what’s balanced, vegan, and vegetarian. Calorie counts are front and center. We even have a G8 Allergen Free Station.

We have put a lot of time, energy, and resources into building and maintaining a powerful athletic program. Which is why we attract some of the best athletes around. And why we make our students green with pride, season after season.
BIG LEAGUE Piedmont College sponsors 19 varsity sports and has been a member of the NCAA since the 2003-04 season. In 2012, the Lions joined the USA South Athletic Conference and have won nine tournament championships and eight regular season championships. Piedmont teams have also taken trips to Bermuda, California, Texas, Colorado, Washington, and Oregon.

CITY LIFE Want some bright-light, big-sport, and culture-centric time? Not to worry. The exciting and energetic cities of Atlanta, Athens, Charlotte, Asheville, and Nashville are all within driving distance. (Atlanta only an hour away, Athens less than that.) Superstar concerts, amazing shopping, and touring Broadway shows. Take it all in through planned student group outings or on your own.
WORLD LIFE Give the globe a spin. No matter where it stops, there’s a good chance a Piedmont student has visited and/or studied there. Travel Study, during the summer semester, can send you packing to Italy, England, France, Russia, Japan, Germany‌ or you name it. Semester Abroad allows you to enroll for a full semester in a university in either England or Germany. Major bonus: your international experiences earn class credit.

Some people don’t like to talk about the cost of college. We, on the other hand, are more than happy to do so. First, because it must be discussed. Second, because it allows us to set aside the myth that Piedmont College isn’t affordable. Beyond traditional financial aid programs, we offer more than $10 million in scholarships and grants to our students. Your education means that much to us.
WIN, WIN WORK Piedmont College supports a robust Student Employment Program. Walk into almost any office on campus or into the dining hall or bookstore or wherever, and you’ll find students doing a great job. The hours they put in – usually between 10 and 20 per week – earns them money and allimportant work experience. It’s truly a win, win.
