In our ever-evolving effort to offer students a complete experience, Piedmont College is introducing Greek life to campus life: a sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha and a fraternity, Alpha Sigma Phi. In addition to social activities, both will focus on service to others, academic achievement, and creating a better world.
The activities calendar at Piedmont is packed. From the Literary Society and Outdoor Club to the Chemistry Club and Radio Club—there are groups that fit any interest. For the sports minded: intramurals like softball, volleyball, basketball, flag football, and tennis. For entertainment seekers: visiting performers, talent shows, and movie nights.

We have put a lot of time, energy, and resources into building and maintaining a powerful athletic program. Which is why we attract some of the best athletes around. And why we make our students green with pride, season after season.
BIG LEAGUE
Piedmont College sponsors 19 varsity sports and has been a member of the NCAA since the 2003-04 season. In 2012, the Lions joined the USA South Athletic Conference and have won nine tournament championships and eight regular season championships. Piedmont teams have also taken trips to Bermuda, California, Texas, Colorado, Washington, and Oregon.

Give the globe a spin. No matter where it stops, there’s a good chance a Piedmont student has visited and/or studied there. Travel Study, during the summer semester, can send you packing to Italy, England, France, Russia, Japan, Germany… or you name it. Semester Abroad allows you to enroll for a full semester in a university in either England or Germany. Major bonus: your international experiences earn class credit.

Some people don’t like to talk about the cost of college. We, on the other hand, are more than happy to do so. First, because it must be discussed. Second, because it allows us to set aside the myth that Piedmont College isn’t affordable. Beyond traditional financial aid programs, we offer more than $10 million in scholarships and grants to our students. Your education means that much to us.

Piedmont College supports a robust Student Employment Program. Walk into almost any office on campus or into the dining hall or bookstore or wherever, and you’ll find students doing a great job. The hours they put in – usually between 10 and 20 per week – earns them money and allimportant work experience. It’s truly a win, win.
