Piedmont College has a long history of preparing teachers and school leaders in northeastern Georgia. In recent years, with the expansion of graduate programs and the establishment of a doctoral program in education, Piedmont students and faculty are conducting research and discovering newer and different ways to help youngsters learn. The Piedmont Educator Renewal Conference (PERC) was established as a means of providing a forum for P-12 educators and alumni to learn, share ideas, and reconnect with friends and colleagues.
