WELCOME Dear friends, As we conclude PEF’s 50th anniversary, we are reflecting on five decades of community commitment to Piedmont’s public schools. It has been a remarkable year of reconnection and celebration, serving as a powerful reminder of what this community achieves when we work together. It is not one individual person who makes our district special, but the concerted efforts of the full PUSD community. We are proud to close this Golden Anniversary year by presenting PUSD with the largest grant in our Foundation’s history: over $4.3 million. This milestone is a direct result of your generosity. Because 1,164 families contributed to the Giving Campaign, we are able to sustain essential funding for classroom teachers, arts and science programs, libraries, and counseling services. These are the pillars that ensure every student in Piedmont receives an exceptional education. As we look toward our second 50 years, our commitment to our partnership with the District, our teachers, students, and our families remains steadfast. The goal of the grant process is to find the intersection between community priorities and the needs of PUSD. The grant distribution was recommended by the PEF Grants Committee after reviewing the results of a survey sent to all families. Allocation of funds is based on enrollment at each school. On Friday, May 1, 2026, 270 elementary school parents and guardians stepped into a world of intrigue and elegance, donning their finest spy-inspired attire for the James Bond–themed Spring Fling 026 Gala: A Night Licensed to Give. The event culminated in the most successful fund-a-need in Spring Fling history, raising $111,100 to support critical programs across all three schools, including field trip transportation, structured play initiatives, and counseling services.
