For more than a decade, Anderson was a professional football player for the National Football League. During that time, he won the Super Bowl twice with the Giants—Super Bowl XXI and Super Bowl XXV. In 1990, he joined the NFL’s elite 10,000 Yard Club when he surpassed the 10,000-yard rushing mark.

When he retired, he was ranked 8th on the career rushing yards list. Now, he continues his legacy through several football- and nonfootball-related ventures.
