Regardless of your giving preference, we ask you to log into eCHRIS to complete your pledge form.
Arizona Tax Charitable Credit Thanks to the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit, giving back has never been easier—or more rewarding:
✅ Receive a dollar-for-dollar credit on AZ state taxes ✅ Up to $506 for individuals / $1,009 for filing jointly ✅ No need to itemize to claim the credit ✅ Learn more at azdor.gov/tax-credits Make your gift by April 15, 2027, and it can count toward your 2026 taxes. If your donation exceeds the limit, the credit can be carried forward for up to five years. This credit is in addition to foster care and school tax credits—giving you even more ways to maximize your impact.
HOPE Fund The City of Phoenix offers an amazing service to employees who may need financial assistance. The Helping Other Phoenix Employees (HOPE) Fund was created to provide support for basic essentials (i.e. utility bills.) The only way this receives funding is through donations during the CSFD campaign. If you’d like to make a donation, select agency #9201 when completing your pledge forms.

What is CSFD? The Community Service Fund Drive (CSFD), held annually each fall, offers City employees a valuable opportunity to make a positive impact in our community. Since its inception in 1998, City employees have collectively raised over $27 million through the CSFD.
The campaign is managed by the CSFD Executive Committee, a group of dedicated employee volunteers from various levels of the organization who are committed to helping others. These committee members attend regular meetings and participate in workgroups to coordinate the campaign events.

About VSUW The partnership between the City of Phoenix and VSUW means they provide the following: Agency tours Campaign materials Agency speakers Training Annual review of each agency Because VSUW provides all these services including distributing all of the pledge donations, there is a 7% administrative fee applied. However, donations to Valley of the Sun United Way and the HOPE Fund are “fee-free.”
