The Phoenix Police Foundation's Emergency Relief Fund provides immediate financial assistance to Phoenix Police officers, staff, and their families in times of crisis. Whether facing unexpected medical expenses, family emergencies, or unforeseen hardships, we step in to offer support when it’s needed most. By easing financial burdens, we allow our heroes to focus on what matters, protecting and serving our community.
Officer Zane Coolidge served the Phoenix Police Department with honor, courage, and an unwavering commitment to protecting others. Known for his integrity and dedication to the badge, Zane exemplified the very best of law enforcement. His legacy continues to inspire all who wear the uniform, and the Phoenix Police mains committed to honoring his pporting those he loved.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to the Phoenix Police Foundation for stepping in during the most difficult time of our lives. After my husband was tragically shot and killed in the line of duty, they immediately set up a donation site to help support my daughter Emma and me. Their willingness to create and maintain this platform has meant more to us than words can express.
Every donation has helped us navigate this new reality, and I’m so thankful to every person who gave. The Foundation has continued to keep the link open, offering ongoing support, and they truly showed up when we needed it most. Their kindness, care, and dedication have made a lasting impact, and I’ll always be grateful for all they’ve done for our family.

The 2024 Honor Run was more than a race, it was a powerful tribute to Phoenix’s fallen officers and a rallying call for community support. With an incredible turnout, we raised over $40,000 to help send 73F, Officer Zane Coolidge’s squad, and his family to Police Week, allowing them to honor his memory and focus on healing without the burden of financial worries.
The event’s impact stretched far beyond race day, with over 13,000 website visits, highlighting the deep connection between our community and those who serve. From runners to sponsors to spectators, every participant played a role in honoring our heroes and making a lasting difference.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
The Phoenix Police Department is dedicated to community service, building trust through youth mentorship, school visits, neighborhood outreach, and public safety initiatives. These efforts go beyond enforcement, strengthening relationships and showing officers as both protectors and partners in the community.

This year’s event recognized outstanding individuals with the Up & Comer Award for emerging leaders, the Elevating Women in Law Enforcement Award for mentorship and diversity advocacy, and the Act of Valor for extraordinary bravery. With the department facing significant officer shortages, this celebration served as a crucial morale booster while reinforcing the goal of 30% female representation by 2030. By celebrating these trailblazers, we reaffirmed our commitment to supporting and empowering the women who protect and serve Phoenix every day.
OFFICER SPOTLIGHT: MEET MORGAN BULLIS
From a young age, Officer Morgan Bullis felt a calling to serve, driven by a deep sense of justice and a commitment to protecting those who couldn’t protect themselves. That dedication led her to law enforcement, where she became a fierce advocate for victims and a leader among her peers. In 2023, while responding to a hit-and-run, she was ambushed and shot twice, suffering a shattered femur. But even in the face of unimaginable adversity, she refused to back down. With resilience and determination, she fought her way back, returning to duty and continuing to serve the community she swore to protect. Her story is one of unwavering courage, relentless perseverance, and the true spirit of valor.
