In 2025, the Phoenix Police Foundation continued its mission to Fund, Honor, and Assist the officers, professional staff, and volunteers who serve our community. Together, we provided critical equipment that enhances officer safety, recognized exceptional service and sacrifice, and delivered support to those facing hardship and crisis.
This year marked another chapter in our commitment to ensuring that Phoenix Police personnel have the resources they need to serve effectively and return home safely to their families. From specialized equipment and officer wellness initiatives to community programs and emergency assistance, your investment created a direct and measurable impact throughout our department.
But the true story of this year cannot be told through numbers alone.
It is found in the officer who received life-saving equipment and utilized it when seconds mattered. It is found in the family that received support during a time of unimaginable loss. It is found in the young person whose life was positively influenced through community engagement with Phoenix Police officers. And it is found in the countless moments that will never make headlines but help strengthen the relationship between our officers and the community they serve.

From advanced recovery technologies and massage therapy to quiet spaces for reflection and restoration, every element was selected with one purpose: helping thosewhospendtheircareershelpingothers.

In 2025, the Phoenix Police Foundation was honoredtohelpsendtwenty-fivemembersof Officer Zane Coolidge’s squad, 73F, to Washington,DC,forNationalPoliceWeek Formany,thejourneywasmorethanatrip.It was an opportunity to stand together, remember a fallen brother, and ensure his sacrificeisneverforgotten
Surrounded by thousands of officers from across the nation, Squad 73F participated in memorial events, honored Ofc Coolidge’s service, and experienced the powerful reminder that while the loss is personal, they arenotalone.

The Phoenix Police Foundation also completed a significant milestonein2025withthecreationofthePhoenixPoliceMemorial Wall,partoftheProtect&HonorCapitalCampaign.
Located within the Department, the memorial serves as a lasting tribute to the forty-six Phoenix Police officers who have lost their livesinthelineofdutysince1925.

The best time to prepare for a crisis is before one occurs.

When a serious injury, unexpected hardship, or line-of-duty death occurs, support cannot wait weeks or months. Families need assistance immediately.

The e-bike allows officers to move quickly through crowded events, parks, entertainment districts, and public gathering spaces while maintaining direct interactions with residents, visitors,businessowners,andcommunitystakeholders.

As we reflect on the impact of the Phoenix Police Foundation over the past year, I am filled with gratitude: for our donors, our community, and, most importantly, the men and women of the Phoenix Police Department who serve our city with courage, professionalism, and sacrifice every day. As a citizen and business leader, I see firsthand that public safety is foundational to everything we value about Phoenix. Effective policing makes our neighborhoods livable, our businesses secure, and our city a place where families, employees, customers, and visitors can thrive. It also plays a vital role in Phoenix’s ability to attract investment, retain companies, and build a vibrant economy.
