Highlighting 7 years of being the UK’s only Positive, Informative and Objective Newspaper, it brought together distinguished guests and dignitaries from across the Commonwealth including His Imperial Majesty Alayeluwa Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi Ojaja II 51st Ooni of Ife, Mayor of the West Midlands Andy Street CBE, Vice Lord Lieutenant of the West Midlands, Dr Beverly Lindsay OBE OD, the Jamaica High Commissioner HE Seth George Ramocan Bhai Sahib Bhai Dr Mohinder Singh OBE KSG, The High Sheriff of the West Midlands John Hudson, Martha Okpi, Minister of Culture at the Nigeria High Commission and a plethora of other high profile guests.

The Headline Sponsor was The Esther Ajayi Foundation, and McDonald’s (Paul Ramsey, Franchisee), and with support from the Birmingham Commonwealth Association, Birmingham City Council and the Nishkam Centre.
