Fine Arts Initiative
The Spring Gala was beautiful in a more intimate setting, the Wrigley Mansion, due to COVID restrictions. Our theme, “Expressions of His Love” permeated the evening with many of our talented students sharing their love for the arts. Grammy award winning artist, Rebecca St. James, inspired us with her passion for worship and her love and admiration for what is happening at Phoenix Christian. We shared our Fine Arts Initiative during the “Give from the Heart” moment. Our vision is to fully update our dated fine arts spaces including the Black Box Theatre, the Art Room, the Band Room and the Choir Room. In addition, we plan to create a premier outdoor venue in our beautiful tree-lined courtyard. Sound, lighting, a raised stage and a beautifully designed awning or pergola will transform our courtyard into a performance center for the entire school and community. Thanks to so many generous supporters, we raised over $75,000 towards our thriving Fine Arts programs.
