THE FUTURE IS TAKING SHAPE.

ALL SAINTS’ EPISCOPAL DAY SCHOOL STRATEGIC PLAN

LOOKING AHEAD TOGETHER For more than six decades, All Saints’ Episcopal Day School has evolved with purpose while remaining grounded in the mission, relationships, and educational excellence that define our community. In August 2024, we began a strategic planning process designed to look beyond the next few years and ask bigger questions about the future of our great School. This work was led by our Board of Trustees. Through community surveys, focus groups, thoughtful study, and the work of our Strategic Planning Task Force, we listened closely to the people who know and love All Saints’. The resulting Strategic Plan was approved by the Board in August 2025. Since then, important work has been taking shape across campus. We developed our Portrait of a Graduate and Learning Principles while advancing other important work, including our strategic technology pillars, an updated All Saints’ Way grounded in our Episcopal Ethos, and growing programs in Creative Concentrations, athletics, and student leadership. This plan is both a commitment and a living framework. It gives us clear direction while allowing us to respond thoughtfully to what our students, community, and the world will need as we move into the future. I am excited to share where we are going, what is taking shape, and the work we will continue together to move our exceptional school forward for our students.

STUDENTS

Equipping students to serve an ever-changing world in need. We strive to develop intellectually curious, resilient, and compassionate problem-solvers with the skills, confidence, and courage to lead with a positive impact in an ever-changing world. Equipped with foundational academic skills and grounded in our Episcopal Ethos, our students are empowered to embrace challenges, develop a deep sense of purpose, and make meaningful contributions to their communities and beyond.

GOALS 1

Foster a strong sense of agency and self-awareness around learning strengths and needs within an environment designed to promote curiosity, initiative, personal responsibility, and growth.

2

Nurture critical thinking, collaboration, and a passion for discovery through interdisciplinary approaches that blend core academic skills with inquiry-driven, experiential learning.

3

Provide opportunities for students to become confident communicators by developing and implementing a framework for civil discourse, ethics, and leadership in an environment that nurtures their growth beyond academics.

4

Cultivate curiosity, empathy, and a commitment to social responsibility through dynamic, hands-on learning experiences that connect academics with real-world application, ethical inquiry, and service rooted in Episcopal values.

5

Equip our students with the skills to navigate an ever-changing world and make a positive impact beyond our campus by embedding the All Saints’ Way into daily life, curriculum, extracurriculars, and service opportunities.

Expanding opportunities to lead We’re continually looking for ways to expand and enhance leadership experiences across a student’s years at All Saints’, giving students opportunities to find their voice, exercise agency, explore their passions, and take meaningful risks in a supportive environment.

FACULTY & STAFF

Cultivating a faculty deeply committed to educating our students from head to soul. Rooted in our legacy of educational excellence, we seek to cultivate a transformative learning experience for our students. Guided by our mission and Learning Principles, we will design and deliver student-centered programs that ignite intellectual curiosity, strengthen critical thinking, and nurture adaptability while ensuring a cohesive and consistent learning journey for each child. By fostering a culture of educational thought leadership, we extend our impact beyond campus and advance the practice of education more broadly.

GOALS 1

Advance our legacy of educational excellence through the continuous exploration of best practices and research-driven pedagogy. Further integrate our learning principles into our practice and structure by creating intentional alignment across grade levels and divisions.

2

Continue to retain and recruit a faculty of lifelong learners who embody academic excellence and the values of our Episcopal Ethos, and are deeply committed to shaping the minds, hearts, and spirits of our students.

3

Elevate our faculty and the School as national leaders in modern education by investing in professional learning experiences and supporting faculty in sharing best practices through conferences, publications, and research.

4

Thoughtfully integrate technology to enrich student learning, enhance collaboration, and cultivate future-ready skills. Create interactive and immersive learning environments that inspire innovation while upholding the human connection at the heart of our mission.

Creating a more connected learning journey Our Learning Principles are creating a shared language for powerful learning across All Saints’. Building from that foundation, faculty examine curriculum across grades and disciplines to strengthen alignment and ensure learning builds intentionally from prekindergarten through eighth grade.

COMMUNITY

Advancing a nurturing community that empowers students to thrive. We will continue to foster the growth of a nurturing, mission-aligned educational community that provides learning opportunities and support for students and families as they navigate the journey from early childhood to adolescence. Grounded in our Episcopal Ethos, we will model the values and behaviors we want to instill in our students—belonging, respect, inclusivity, leading with curiosity, dignity for others, and dialogue. We will identify opportunities to enhance and strengthen our culture, and continue our commitment to creating a community rooted in connection to enable children to thrive.

GOALS 1

Advance our mission to maintain and support a diverse and inclusive community through our Episcopal Ethos.

2

Foster an environment built on strong family-school connections, guided by our educational expertise, and centered on student learning and growth.

3

Partner to create a culture where challenges are seen as opportunities for growth and students are supported through them as developmentally appropriate, promoting resilience and growth beyond academics.

4

Define our approach to the School-family partnership and broaden opportunities for parent and community education to deepen engagement.

5

Support the psychological and social-emotional well-being of students through our family-school model.

Learning Together Our growing parent education program brings families and educators together around the questions that matter as children grow — from resilience and well-being to technology, relationships, purpose, and leadership. These conversations help connect what we’re developing in students with how families can support that growth at home.

MISSION & PURPOSE

Articulating our mission and maximizing our impact now and in the future. Anchored in our Episcopal Ethos, we are committed to nurturing and preserving our roots while evolving to maximize impact. We will continue to advance the All Saints’ mission through our decisions, actions, relationships, and the intentional stewardship of our resources. Through a community that underscores the importance of belonging and service, we will help students grow in intellect, character, and purpose, and extend our influence beyond campus through partnerships, educational expertise, and community engagement.

GOALS 1

Cultivate long-term, comprehensive institutional stewardship with a focus on financial sustainability to support exceptional educational programming through future challenges and across generations.

2

Showcase our Episcopal Ethos as the cornerstone of All Saints’ and articulate its deep connection to our mission, our identity as a School community, and the holistic experience of every student.

3

Continue to strengthen our integral relationship with All Saints’ Episcopal Church, as our mission is to “educate children in mind, body, and soul.”

4

Elevate our work as an institution and increase our impact within the community—locally and nationally—through service, educational expertise, and outreach programs.

5

Continue our commitment to strengthening our inclusive community of mission-aligned families, exploring opportunities for greater affordability and accessibility within our independent school model.

Planning for generations to come We’re strengthening the foundations that will sustain All Saints’ for the long term — growing resources for the future, deepening our partnership with the Church, and taking a longer-range approach to financial planning and stewardship.

FROM PLAN TO PROGRESS This Strategic Plan gives All Saints’ a shared direction for the years ahead. It guides the ongoing work of building thoughtfully on what makes our School exceptional while continuing to respond to what our students need now and what they will need next. Some of this work is already visible across campus, some is taking shape now, and some will unfold over the years ahead. Together, these efforts reflect a commitment to continually strengthen the All Saints’ experience while remaining grounded in the mission, relationships, and educational excellence that have long defined our School.

The Strategic Plan does not stand apart from who we are as a School. It builds upon a foundation that begins with our mission and Episcopal identity and shapes how we live and learn together. The All Saints’ Way gives our community a shared language of respect, responsibility, and understanding. Together, these pieces support the learning experiences and relationships that shape the students we send into the world.
