-The History of the Class of 1999ROOM 9 - We met each other for the first time, and we made cool artwork. We were really into the jewel fairy and hunted on the little kids’ playground for jewels. We even made forts for the jewel fairy, but the older kids knocked them down. We were the last class to have Mrs. Trick. ROOM 10 - Stephen, Matt, Donnell, Blake, and Sheeva arrived and all of us were small. All the girls liked to play with Ms. Mondore’s hair. We learned that we can’t say, “You can’t play” but we did learn to say, “I am kind.” Mrs. Dulik sat on the chocolate cake. We made the Great Wall of China and did the jungle play. Heath dug up the biggest rock on the playground. Emily and Meredith moved to Switzerland. KINDERGARTEN - Molly, Beeta, Babak, Jordie, and John arrived. Mrs. Jory and Mrs. Lippert were our teachers. We continued to like forts. We went to chapel for the first time. We used paste and we had a piano in the classroom. We made an animal for each letter of the alphabet. This was our last year without uniforms. Jordie, John, and Ross left. FIRST GRADE - Mrs. Taft was our teacher. We learned about China. Francis and Herman joined the class. Dominoes and wood blocks were the cool things. We did the bunny play. This was the first year of homework and uniforms and the first year with no naps. We read Mr. Popper’s Penguins and had a test on it. Mrs. Pot helped us hold our pencils correctly. The fake axe broke during the musical. John and Graham left. SECOND GRADE - J.L. and Lawrence arrived in the beginning of the year; Dylan came in the middle of the year. We did the frog play and had dino day. We played the 3rd grade in soccer. Annie and Lawrence left. THIRD GRADE - J.T. joined the class. Mrs. Peck was our teacher and we had lots of reports, including book reports and the endangered species report. We did a Thanksgiving play and Valentines play. We played the second grade in soccer. We were the last class to have Mrs. Peck in 3rd grade. Sheeva left. FOURTH GRRDE - Tory joined the class. Mr. Sherman was our teacher. At family reading night, the firefighters were called away. We wrote Japanese Anything Reports and many book reports. Alexander broke his leg and Chelsea O. broke her arm. We went to Coloma at the end of the year and Donnell ate lots of spaghetti; the fifth graders moved our room around while we were gone. FIFTH GRRDE - We started off the year with Ms. Spang and headed off to USTA. We went to Yosemite, Francis brushed his teeth a lot. Ms. Spang left and Mr. Heminway arrived. We did the Christmas Pageant and the musical. The games at recess this year were handball and black magic (butts up). We played fun made-up games like Mr. Gator and Cat and Mouse. The main thing for most boys were dirtbikes, go-carts, and go-peds; Pokemon took over most of us. Both the girls and the boys won their basketball championship games second year in a row.

Donnell Tachis Maddy & Elena Maddy is my beautiful, tiny sister. She smiles every day, nonstop. Her short blonde hair is silky to the touch. Her intricate little hands have a strong grip, and a soft touch. Elena is a lot like Maddy. She has a strong grip, soft touch and golden hair. She still has a personality of her own, though, she has a servant call where she rases her hands and starts talking baby. They are my sisters and I love them both.

Thinking Thinking is wondering what to do even if you don't have a clue. Thinking is questioning where you'll dine or even what to write in the next line. One of the things that you might think is “Hey I'm thirsty I'll get a drink. “ What's in the sink?'' “What made that clink'' Some things you might ponder when you think, think, think. Under the Bed What is under the bed? I said, to Auntie Mead and Uncle Fred I don’t know , Auntie Mead said, But it just ate your Father, Ned! Rachel Bolten

Racing dirtbikes is very fun, but scary and dangerous. Once you get in first place, you feel a burst of happiness and want to scream with joy. It is fun to race on cool tracks with hills, bumps, mogels and jumps. Once you come to the bumps it gets really scary because if you make one false move you can get seriosly injured and the person behind you can run you over. You are wondering were the others are but you don't want to look back. I have seen my friend try to look back and crashed into a tree. The dirt in your eyes makes you want to close them but you will fall if you do. It is worth the risk because it is so fun being able to go faster then your friends and have all of that power in your control and remember KX80 all the way. Stephen White
