Philip Raymond Baquie, Psy.D., is the founder of Tradecraft Leadership Group, a consultancy dedicated to helping leaders in high-risk professions perform under pressure, communicate with accuracy, and build resilient, high-performing teams. Drawing from his background in the military, law enforcement, and private security, he shares practical tools for leading in situations where the margin for error is small. Philip Baquie combines psychological insight, real-world experience, and performance science to support leaders in making informed decisions and acting with purpose. He has provided training to personnel from the Navy SEALs, Army Special Forces, U.S. Marshals, DEA, and U.S. Border Patrol. Through his Presilience and Human Factors Leadership frameworks, he helps strengthen decision-making, communication, and team accountability. Phil Baquie's work includes contributing a chapter to a forthcoming book on leadership and wellness for first responders. He also appeared as a subject matter expert and cast member in the award-winning documentary PTSD911, which features the experiences of first responders as they navigate the effects of trauma. He studied Executive Leadership Coaching at Harvard University. As a Strategic Leadership Mentor with Tradecraft Leadership Group, he supports leaders and teams in identifying obstacles to performance, improving clarity, and leading with intention. Holding a Doctor of Psychology and with hands-on experience in the military, law enforcement, and energy sectors, he brings a unique blend of operational and psychological knowledge. His work across 39 countries has given him a deep respect for cultural differences and the shared values that drive effective teams. For more than seven years, he served as CEO of Alpha 6 Tactical Solutions, leading a company that supported high-profile clients in challenging environments. He managed tactical security operations and led over 500 training sessions for SWAT, Special Operations, and federal agencies.
