Gift of a New Organ

Philharmonia is proud to have unveiled The Alper Garren Fund Organ for Music Director Richard Egarr this past December in Bach’s Christmas Oratorio. This Hauptwerk double manual continuo organ was built in 2020 by Noorlander Orgels in Barneveld, Netherlands. Featuring a wide variety of Egarr historical sounds, the organ adds essential and appropriate colors to the Orchestra in music ranging from the 17th century to the present. Philharmonia is deeply grateful for this incredibly meaningful addition to the Orchestra, and looks forward to hearing it in future seasons!
