MMThe City is seeking 2 full-time Heavy Equipment Operators and 1 full-time Maintenance Laborer for the Water & Sewer Maintenance Department. These positions will construct, install, and maintain City water lines and mains, as well as City sewer lines. Duties will be performed outdoors in all conditions and require manual labor. These positions are required to be in rotation for on-call duty. Equipment Operator candidates must possess or be willing to acquire a valid Missouri CDL-Class A and have some experience with heavy machinery. Equipment Operators starting wage is $11.17 DOQ and the Maintenance Laborer starting wage is $10.36 DOQ. Missouri EMS Honor Guard Spaghetti Supper Fundraiser Help the Missouri EMS Honor Guard be a part of the nationwide Memorial Service that honors the line of duty deaths of Emergency Medical Service workers. At this year’s service Missouri’s Honor Guard will be honoring the Life Net Crew 2-2; Randy Bever, Chris Frakes and James Freudenberg, as well as two other Missouri EMS workers. The services will be held in Colorado Springs, Colorado this June. A Fundraiser Spaghetti Supper with Bake Sale will be held June 2nd, 2012 from 6pm-8pm at the Grand River Ambulance Base, 810 N.
