Starting May 28, kids ages 1-18 can sign up at the library and pick up their Summer Reading Pack, with a log book on which they will record how many minutes they spend reading library books, or if they’re not yet reading themselves, how many minutes they’ve spent being read to by an adult. One “dirt dollar” will be awarded for every 120 minutes of reading. Dirt dollars can be redeemed for prizes (for ages 5 and up) or prize books (ages 1-4). Teens can participate in our TSI: Teen Scene Investigation and earn their own prizes!
