A LIFE IN A CORRESPONDENCE - large accumulation of covers with the original letter contents, mostly addressed to Captain Maxted Robinson, or Mrs Maxted Robinson; we see an early letter from George Robinson, written from Rossall Boarding School, north of Blackpool, to his mother and father, continues with 1940 letters from a barracks in Bolton, then further quantity of mail from George, now stationed in India during WWII, covers with various censor marks applied, later mail to 1957 addressed to Miss Daphne Veitch from George, also see some ephemera (note registration document for a little ship), small amount of 1917 mail addressed to Capt. Pennington-Robinson. Generally opened roughly and appears somewhat scruffy, but much information to be gleaned from the chatty letters, could form the basis of a fun research project (guess 250 covers).
