EXPLORE THE POSSIBILITIES! In celebration of International Active Aging Week, seniors 60 & better are invited to come out and explore the possibilities and have some fun!

Try a new activity, meet new people, and stay active by participating in FREE classes throughout Prince George’s County!

Registration begins Thursday, September 1.

Advance registration is required for all activities. Limited spaces are available for each activity. Please see each event description for details. Highway To Health!

Explore the seven dimensions of wellness at the Highway to Health Active Aging Week kick-off event! Check in at the Highway to Health tollbooth to pick up your roadmap, and then follow the Highway to Health signs. Turn right onto Wellness Way and proceed to Wellness Wayside Pavilion for health screenings, and then on to Sponsor Speedway to gather valuable senior information and to thank our event sponsors! Be sure to pull off at the Weigh Station before you approach Music on the Greenway, where you can listen to live music by Tooo Smooth Dudes and the Senior Singing Sensations. Take the exit ramp to Arts Alley, where you can cruise to various art activities that put your imagination and creativity into gear! As you exit Arts Alley, merge onto Fitness Freeway, which is filled with a variety of fitness activities where you can rev your engine and tune up your motor! Finally, slow down, save fuel, and take a pit stop on Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle Roadway to learn all about environmental health!
