Pittsburgh Public Theater

Pittsburgh's flagship public theater enters its 50th season in 2024/25. The Public produces more than 120 performances per season, including contemporary drama, comedy, musicals, world classics, and premieres of new works. The Public is committed to being a true public theater for the region and invests in education and engagement initiatives including the Shakespeare Monologue & Scene Contest and the New Play Contest.
