INGREDIENTS
For the sandwich
4 hoagie rolls, split
8 oz sliced Genoa salami
8 oz sliced pepperoni
8 oz sliced ham
8 slices provolone cheese
2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
½ cup sliced banana peppers
¼ cup diced red onion
2 medium tomatoes, diced
For the Grinder Dressing:
½ cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and black pepper to taste
PREPARATION
1 In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
2 On a large cutting board, pile the salami, pepperoni, ham, provolone, lettuce, banana peppers, red onion, and tomatoes together
3 Drizzle the dressing over the top, then use a large chef's knife to chop and mix everything until evenly combined.
4 Toast the hoagie rolls until lightly crisp
