My Research These are the posters I drew inspiration from,I like the framed look of them and wanted to incorporate that.

Hereâ€™s were the symbol inspiration comes from.

This is where i got the almost patterned idea from, i think it will add a texture that will be fun to look at but wont distract.

My Sketches My front cover was inspired by 1960s movie posters seeing as the Walk of Fame was created in 1960.

My right side spread was inspired by the Walk of fame itself using the middle circle and placing text around it like in the star. I also decided to use stars to hold the page numbers.

My left side spread was inspired by the artist David Carson, this way I could create some what of a marble texture like the sidewalk of the Walk has, but with more promo to the director.

My Idea for the program was to combined the wall of hollywood with the walk. The left side is to represent the graffitti you see all throughout Hollywood and the right is a close up of the middle of a star on the walk. The cover was and last few pages were based off movie posters that were done up in the 60s since the walk of fame was created in 1960. I kept the pagination simple and on every other page since there design was quite bold.

WELCOME The College of Southern Nevada's Videography and Film Program Welcomes you and your guests to the CSN 8th Annual Short Film Showcase on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 7 P.M. Located in the Nicholas J. Horn Theater on the North Las Vegas campus, 3200 East Cheyenne Avenue, this event is free and open to the public. The two hour showcase highlights comedies, dramas, documentaries, music videos and more, all produced in the past year within the Videography & Film Program. Following the screening of the films there will be prizes for the top film categories and a Q&A with filmmakers. Enjoy the high quality of filmmaking at CSN and meet the next generation of filmmakers in Las Vegas. Videography & Film students have been nominated for 73 Student Production Award Emmys and won a record 38 awards at the NATAS PSW Chapter Emmys in the last five years.
