We are excited to announce the upcoming opening of our cannabis cultivation facility and are currently hiring part-time team members to join us at launch, with opportunities to transition into full-time positions as operations and production increase.

Cultivation Technician

REPORTS TO Cultivation Lead

WAGE RANGE

$22.00- 26.00 per hour

JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Cultivation Lead, the Cultivation Technician supports day-to-day plant care in our microcultivation facility. You will work hands-on with plants throughout the entire growth cycle to ensure healthy, high-quality production. This role is hands-on and requires attention to detail, consistency, and a strong commitment to quality and compliance to ensure the company meets established goals

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the Cultivation Technician, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Watering, pruning, transplanting, defoliation

• Cloning and propagation tasks

• Monitoring environmental conditions & sensors

• Executing IPM (pest management) measures according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

• Supporting harvest prep & post-harvest workflows

• Maintaining batch documentation for compliance

• Help maintain a sanitary environment

• Other related duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience:

• Horticulture or cannabis experience preferred

• Certificate or degree in environmental sciences/ plant studies/ or similar education or experience considered an asset

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong attention to detail

• Reliable and punctual

• Ability to perform physically demanding work (standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 Kg)

• Knowledge of plant biology and nutrient management (preferred)

• Familiarity with regulated production environments (preferred)

• Ability to obtain and maintain eligibility to work in a licensed cannabis facility in Canada.

• May require evening, weekend, and holiday shifts depending on production cycles.
