Petoskey State Park

Closure Information & Alternative Locations

September 2025 - May 2026

Petoskey State Park’s campground and trail areas are closed to the public as construction begins on their sewer and septic systems The entire park, including the beach area, is scheduled to close on October 1, but this may happen sooner if construction is ahead of schedule

Beaches & Lake Access

Alternate beach access to Lake Michigan and other area inland lakes.

Zorn Park Beach, Harbor Springs

Zoll Street Beach (dog-friendly), Harbor Springs

Sturgeon Bay Beach, Cross Village

Young State Park, Boyne City

Burt Lake State Park, Indian River
