Healthy Whole Food Recipes For Your Dog

Today I received a call from a lovely woman who just rescued a sick 4 month old Italian Greyhound. Her puppy is in need of a diet that will help strengthen it's immune system, is easy to digest, help solidify it's stools, help build up weight and supply the body with plenty of anti-oxidants. It is very important to help get the body strong enough be effective in healing itself and help calm the puppies nerves. Mental and physical health starts with a healthy diet. This is a great start to heal your dog.

INGREDIENTS Yield: 8 to 10 servings 6 oz ground chicken or turkey 6 eggs 1 cup long grain brown rice 1/4 cups milk 1/4 cup yogurt 1/4 tbsp minced garlic 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese 1/4 cup diced tomatoes 1 tbsp dried basil leaves 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil

PREPARATION A. Brown the ground turkey or chicken in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir Add the minced garlic and diced tomatoes until meat is evenly brown. Set aside.

B. Cook long grain brown rice and set aside.

C. whisk together the eggs, milk, salt , basil, milk and yogurt.

Spray the medium heat skillet with some cooking spray, and pour in the eggs. Cook and stir until almost firm.

D. Add the meat, and continue cooking and stirring until firm.

E. Mix the egg mixture to the rice, add EVO Sprinkle a little shredded cheese onto each meal while it is still hot. You can used individual small tupperware container to store or freeze the meals for later use.
