Dear Reader, Welcome to the fourth and final issue in our BIG small scale publishing experiment. It has been the most amazing journey and Mo and I have learnt so much since we jumped in at the deep end and founded this independent new magazine. Behind the Bea at Wortham Manor... scenes, the ride over the last couple of years has not been smooth and indeed there were many who whispered that our unique concept and ground breaking magazine would never amount to anything… But thankfully the naysayers were wildly outnumbered by you, our wonderful and enthusiastic readers! If I am honest though, we are feeling a little bruised right now, and yes, this issue has certainly taken longer to get to print than we had planned. However, not only a labour of love to complete, it’s also been more than a little headache inducing too. Trying to squeeze all of the fabulous quality content into just 100 pages, has been a challenge in itself. Ultimately, it has required a Herculean effort to push this new magazine over the finish line… but at last – Issue 4 is here and my, what a beauty she is! With our experimental 4 issues now complete and with our eyes on the future horizon (see page 96), we are super excited to welcome two extremely talented miniaturists into our expanding team of regular contributors. Jaymes Crowther hails from the world of 1:76 dioramas and is a young and emerging talent within this exciting area of miniatures. Second generation miniaturist, Chris Burns is also joining our motley crew and brings with him an incredible wealth of creativity and contagious enthusiasm for the smaller dolls house scales. So from Mo and I and on behalf of our readers – Chris and Jaymes; welcome to the team. But before you take the plunge into this jam packed new issue of the Petite Properties’ Magazine, we also would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to jump on board and get involved with future issues! So, if you are in any way part of the smaller scale miniature world, be it as a hobbyist, artisan or small business owner; don’t be shy… Please do step forward and let us showcase you and your creations in the future pages of this magazine...
